"I bought a fridge, washer and dryer the week of Thanksgiving 2018. My appliances were delivered at least three weeks later and installed a couple of weeks after that, which puts us at the beginning of January. Since having the washer installed, I'm on my fourth service call due to technical issues with the washer. In addition to the technical problems, I'm convinced the washer was designed to destroy clothes! I must stress, that I have been a stay at home mom since last August. When I held a full time job outside the home, my second job at home was always bittersweet, balancing it all was a never ending job. However, now a days, I am able to really appreciate and take the time I have now to complete my parental duties at home! It's like a say, I do everything at home I did before, I'm just able to do it better as a stay at home parent. Therefore, having to watch this washer shred, stretch or tear up my clothes through pilling, has been extremely upsetting. Especially since I am taking the time and doing my part to prevent it. My clothes didn't look this bad even when I worked and was always rushing through my chores. This washer uses very little water, to the point that some of the clothes still has dry patches on them after a full wash cycle. I also have to untangle and untwist my clothes..... keep in mind, this washer does not have an agitator. I specifically chose a washer without an agitator to prevent it from tearing up my clothes. I'm convinced after trying all the settings available on the washer, that its designed to just tear up my laundry. Pretty much all of our clothes is now full of pilling since using this washer. again, this issues are in addition to the technical problems that have accompanied it. I am typing this as my minivan is loaded up with all of our clothes so I can head to the laundromat for the 4 time since having this washer installed in January:/ I've contacted Home Depot several times, but they have mad it crystal clear that they do not take returns on large appliances. I must go through the warranty department!!!! I made another call this morning to the only rep at the Home Depot store that gave me a glimmer of hope of finding a solution. Waiting to get a call back from her. Regardless, I am disappointed in the service I have received up to this point from Home Depot and the attitude that this is basically not their problem since Maytag was the company that designed it! I truly expect a company to stand behind a produce that they sale. I do NOT understand how Home Depot doesn't understand or stand behind that philosophy!"

"We visited the garden area after church on Sunday. It was very busy and the lines were long. One employee was going down the line, "Would you like a complimentary cold bottled water while you wait ?". She was handing out water and doing a great job of making the customers feel valued. Way to go. I may continue shopping there after all. NOPE.....update.....they screwed up again. Back to Lowe's. June 2018 update: TOTAL SCREW UP. I bought a window unit and un-packed it at the customers house. It was used and had screw holes in the side. Returns had no app to re-imburse me for my lost time. UNPACK BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE Update (days later) Now Home Depot will not let me leave a review on their website. "It doesn't meet their standard." They only want good reviews."
