"Do not buy any Allstate Insurance plans for anything. I have a water leak on my $2000 Samsung and I have to wait two weeks for a repair person? On top of waiting two hours on chat since no one answered the phones to get the two week service?"

"I live in Atlanta where I frequent Home Depot all the time we’re Customer service is wonderful. C ame down to Foley, Alabama to the local Home Depot to get some products got to the register and met this young lady name Thomasina. She was very rude, and nasty and I never counted that before at Home Depot, I work in customer service and the customer is comes first please train this young lady. As much as I come down here I won’t come back to this store sad to say because I’m building a house here."

"Today I’m posting a negative I came to the store to purchase 4 saw horses total purchase would have been $160. Normally I come in buy what I need and leave no issue. The issue being I will only use a manned cashier checkout. All were closed and I see self checkout as a negative impact on customer service. So you lost a sale. And paid someone to return product to a shelf. It would be cheaper to keep one cashier at all times. Thank you for wasting my time. Sincerely a customer that sees self checkout as a loss of labor force replaced by a machine and the customers labor for free. Another day I actually talked with a manager which had more contradiction to my suggestions or concerns and used an employee call sheet as a visual aid to our conversation. It was mentioned a few times Lowe’s is worse as if that somehow makes failure more palatable! It was also mentioned pros were covered with manned registers I showed my app and my listing as a pro and that I would rather be checked out in the middle where pros like electricians and plumbers (evidently not considered pros) would shop.I went to 5 employees one within 25’ of the tool I was looking to buy. Most were unaware of what a drywall skimming trowel was. I met several people looking for items and HD was clueless. That manager also did not know what a trowel was. Come on man. Hire some retired contractors or something so you can teach some employees. If I was GM I would be embarrassed. If I was a district manager I would close the store for a week and walk all the employees around the store then test them on all departments and what tools are used for each. I miss my Home Depot in SC. So In a dark front corner behind stacks of drywall I found drywall tools and not one skimming trowel or mud pan big enough for one. Why is this important you might ask to re- skim a textured wall you need a large trowel and a large mud pan. Larger than here. I’m about to trade my HD Card for an Amazon card and that’s sad. Pictures display a ghost town of unhelped customers and a blocked front center entrance? Fire Safety issue? A second trip that my list was not filled and I left a full cart where no employee can find it with the drywall tools! 2022 update decided to come in and buy 2 items post driver $45 maybe more and a $22 lawnmower blade. Since the items were found on the lawn and garden side I grabbed them and headed to check out. Again people at registers but gated up so to force self checkout. I want to interact with a person not a machine and so I went back to the end where I entered the store. The person behind the counter acted like she was doing a one time favor checking my stuff out and laughed to her coworker. I have shopped several years with Home Depot in another state and this is possibly the worst store I ever tried to do business with. Home Depot got $9000 in business from me last year my resolution this year is to no longer shop at Home Depot. It’s just easier to go to lowes where I can find helpful people and go through regular checkout without the drama. I am planning on spending a lot more money this year and none of it will be at this Home Depot which really needs a class in customer service and retention. You simply cannot stay in business treating customers this way and making the checkout machine forced. Ps this trip I passed several employees and one assistant manager none offered assistance of any kind."
