"Just went to have breakfast for the first time. A blonde waitress first words was “ it’s going to be a while”. Not good morning , how many! Then while we stood and waited, a guy waiter said “ it’s going to be a good half hour, no I’m serious. So we will never be back. Maybe a little help, say good Morning, how many. Just want you to know it could be up to a half hour. Be nice and smile. It is a small town…. Word travels."

"This cozy breakfast cafe is where you can find a delicious assortment for breakfast and lunch... The staff is top notch... kudos to staff and management... You're greeted at the door in a timely manner and served got fresh coffee upon request... Fast friendly service, and the chef is on site flipping the grill for a tasty treat... I give you guys an A+ for being efficient and making my dining experience with my friends and family forever memorable... This place fills up quickly because of the deliciousness that comes from the menu... The taste of New York in Lake Placid Florida... If you're lucky, you get to see the Owner who comes to your table have a chat while assisting on the grill... Dude's got skills..."

"Small family run. Excellent servers. Food was average but you know it's fresh because you see them cooking it. Don't go if if the owners Mother comes in behind you. We were waiting for a table just like her and she told us which table she would be taking and was seated before us. Everyone was otherwise friendly and working hard. I had a burger that was cooked right but average in taste. Husband tried the rolled ice cream for dessert, YUM"

"What a wonderful surprise in downtown Lake Placid for lunch today. The town is very busy with a lot going on but we were able to walk in and be seated right away. The place is loosely done with a baseball motif and is clean and very efficient. Orders were taken promptly and prepared and delivered in a timely manner. Food was hot and very good. French fries were a little oily and could have been cooked longer but other than that, food was great. They also gave us a sample of their rolled ice cream which was also delicious. Breakfast and lunch only but give it a try. #stevensleavin"
