"I visit Sarasota 4-5 times a year, D'lites is always been a multiple must-stop for my family. We appreciated their commitment to a healthy menu, including soft serve, organic, keto items and coffee. However, my recent visit was disheartening – no soft serve, and the entire selection had shifted. It felt like the essence of D'lites was replaced, akin to walking into a Whole Foods and finding Dollar General instead. Sadly, it seems the era of this beloved spot, with its unique offerings, has come to an end."

"Our go-to ice cream shop is gone! We went in around 7pm to see a sign on the door stating they are closed because they can’t find any employees. We went a few days later prior to 6pm only to walk in and see everything gone! No more soft serve machines or anything to make shakes or smoothies. We asked if they stopped serving soft serve and the gentleman pointed to a freezer chest and said we still have it in there but all we sell now is Gelato and Wine. I assume whatever was in the freezer is there way of getting rid of the old stock because they don’t even have a soft serve machine anymore! So it appears as though it has changed ownership, although based on previous recent reviews the owner will respond saying we’re just transitioning… Well I can point you to a liquor store 5 minutes away that has aisles upon aisle of wine, and as far as the Gelato goes, not sure why they would even go there. Needless to say D’lites has become anything but delightful. I don’t like giving a small business a 1 star review but had to in order to inform people due to the deceitfulness of the owner. They didn’t change anything on the website so anyone looking would think it’s the same, they kept the same name which should be changed because it’s a completely different concept, and it seems like they just bought all of the previous 5 star reviews which is why they are not changing the name. It’s all gone and I don’t expect the new “D’lites” to be around for long. So sad."

"This place has organic coffee options and that’s a must stop for that alone! There are also lots of healthier snack options to purchase as well. I didn’t end up getting anything because they only had sugar free syrups and I cannot have artificial sweeteners!! Wish there would have been other options."

"My FAVORITE place to have a keto or low point (MyWW) ice cream that’s delicious. If your DF they have some choices for you. My birthday cake came from them this year, and I can’t say enough of how tasty it was! How can healthy ice cream be tasty? Go FIND out…."

"Innovative shop offering keto, low-sugar & vegan soft serve & ice cream. The flavors were surprisingly good. They also offered a healthful array of specialty foods. Definitely worth a stop! (In San Marco Plaza.)"
