"My husband and I hired Angela for the birth of our first child, and I could not recommend her enough. I truly would not want to have another baby without her present. Prior to taking Angela’s prep classes, my husband commented on how the role of a doula suits less dominant personalities best, as they require assistance asserting themselves. How wrong he was! We took her comfort in childbirth, infant care and breastfeeding classes, and by the end of the series he told me to ask for her number. Before she even consulted with us we were ready to put a deposit down. Angela met with us a handful of times prior to labor, and then met us in Gainesville (we traveled from Ocala) early in the morning when I went into labor. She stayed with us for our entire 24 hour labor, and guided us through every step. She laid out candles, played music, massaged me for hours, asked for specialty laboring tools and brought some herself, advocated for things I wouldn’t have known to ask for, and held my legs as I pushed for hours. Labor was far from an easy experience but I felt supported the entire time because Angela was there to ensure I was taken care of. Following my daughter’s birth, she traveled to our home twice to consult me on breastfeeding and proper weight gain. This was invaluable, as my mom was unable to be with me following her birth due to COVID, and I really needed the emotional support. If you’re wondering if you should hire a doula or are looking for the right one for you, look no further. You will not regret adding Angela to your care team."

"Angela is truly an angel. From the first moment we met her, we loved her warmth and honesty. Leading up to our daughter's birth we took breastfeeding, baby care, and child birth classes with Angela. She is an engaging instructor and provided so much useful information! During this crazy time of COVID-19, Angela was great working with us to figure out how the process would be at the hospital. Additionally, she took the initiative to reach out to my doctor to ensure a good working relationship. Leading up to labor, I had a minor complication. Angela was a great resource for questions, as well as support. My labor ended up starting early with my water breaking overnight. The entire plan for labor shifted, but Angela was there to keep us on track with what we could still control. My labor ended up being almost 37 hours, with most of it being back labor. Angela supported us physically and emotionally. She helped my husband stay calm and guided how he could best help me. She also used many comfort measures on me. If it were not for Angela, I would no doubt have had a c-section. There is no way I would have lasted through the discomfort I was in as long as I did. However, she was there, and assisted us through all 37 hours until out sweet girl arrived. After we went home from the hospital, Angela continued to check in daily via text messages and a postpartum visit. I also reached out to Angela several times to ask questions. I cannot recommend Angela enough. I can't imagine this process without her."

"I don’t think words can describe the level of gratitude and love I have for Angela! From the first moment my husband and I met with her to interview, I cancelled the others and simply knew she’d be the one to help me bring my little girl into this world! Her compassion, sincerity, and overall amazing personality make her such a source of strength during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum! We hired her for doula services, but also took her comfort measures for labor in-person class and I’d highly recommend that route as the in-person support was very helpful and applicable to managing labor pains throughout all stages. When it came time for labor, I was scared and told my husband I wanted Angela over sooner than I originally expected. Immediately upon having her arrive at our house, I felt a sense of calm and strength. She guided us through various positions and talked about what moving forward would look like. At the hospital where I delivered, Angela was my rock and advocate. We had spent a lot of time discussing my desires and all the “what if’s”. When doctors tried to push unwanted things, Angela was a great sounding board to discuss pros and cons. During the 25+ hours of labor, Angela was able to tap into her extensive knowledge to recommend various positions and pain relief techniques. I ultimately got the perfect, natural birth I wanted! Even postpartum her support never faltered! Countless texts and visits to our home helped my husband and I get through some rough patches. I can’t thank Angela enough for all she has done and the impact she had. Absolutely an amazing doula that is a natural birth necessity! I can’t imagine going through childbirth without Angela by my side."

"I really hope this review does Angela justice. I have no idea what my husband and I (first time parents) would have done without her. When we met, my husband and I instantly felt like she would be an important addition to our birth team. Even in that moment, however, we couldn't know how crucial she would actually be. For example, with Angela's expert knowledge and guidance, I went from stalled labor to active labor in a very short period of time. Angela was so patient and calming through the whole process. I expected to need her help with the birth, but I did not expect how much more I would need her help after the birth. After the birth, both baby and I had some complications and Angela did everything she possibly could to help us. She is extremely available, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Oh, and the pictures! We didn't think we'd need pictures, but she took some amazing ones that we're so happy to have. If you are considering working with a Doula, I could not recommend Angela more. She is simply the best."
