"It's better than Burger King... The app doesn't work when trying to use coupons or, in some cases, the pick-up orders. The workers, for the most part, are unfriendly. They seem to have a hard time staying staffed, this is especially noticeable during spring and summer months. The drive-through is wrapped around the building like it's chick-fil-a, but the line never moves. Don't even think about coming here for ice cream. If you think the machine is working, I hate to disappoint you, it isn't. I feel bad for the one person working late at night, doing the cooking, and the drive-through at the same time. It's a real review, but let's be honest, it's McDonald's. If the experience is going to be this bad, the food should be cheaper."

"My wife and I went thru the drive thru and ordered two medium Carmel frappes. Drove off and started sipping the frappes and the tasted like water with absolutely no Carmel flavor. We should have immediately went back but were already on our way home. I called the Manager and told her she should immediately shut that machine down because something was wrong. She apologized but didn't offer anything in return. Needless to say, we won't be stopping there ever again. We are snowbirds and hope this review is seen by other snowbirds."

"Took about 30 minutes to enter drive thru and get my food And there was only 5 cars ahead of me. And there was probably 4-6 minutes between them taking peoples orders. WHY is it so slow??? And Would it have killed th employee to say “sorry about the wait”???"

"To say this place is the worst McDonald’s in the state of Alabama is an UNDERSTATEMENT. The workers there are extremely rude, they stand there and just look at you instead of taking your order and the food quality is terrible. They act like it’s such an inconvenience to take orders. Whoever manages this place obviously does not care about anything. The last few times I’ve gotten McDonald’s I’ve went out of my way and drove almost 20 minutes to the Foley McDonald’s. The employees at the Foley location are very nice and friendly and fast service. Take my advice and go to the Foley or Orange Beach location. I waited over 30 minutes to get my food tonight at this terrible Gulf Shores location (and they were not even busy)."

"Service was quick and efficient. Food was as ordered. The French fries were hot and fresh and were the best part of the meal. The quality of the Big Mac product was poor and the temperature was only warm. The meat patties were gray in appearance and did not taste fresh. I might visit again but would definitely not order the Big Mac sandwich again."
