Proceeds from our resale stores go towards providing comforting, compassionate care for those with serious illnesses and their families. You can support our mission by shopping, donating, or volunteering at Hope Chest.
Our Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, and South Fort Myers locations offer free pick-up services for clean, gently used furniture donations in most areas of Southwest Florida. Donors will receive tax-deductible receipts for their contributions.
At Hope Chest, you can find boutique items, secondhand clothes, unique accessories, used furniture, books, craft supplies, antiques, collectibles, home goods, holiday decor, and discounted durable medical equipment. Volunteers play a crucial role in our store operations, accepting donations, sorting items, stocking shelves, and assisting shoppers.
If you're interested in volunteering, you can apply in person at any store location or visit our Volunteers page for more information. Hope Hospice and Community Services, Inc. DBA Hope Healthcare is registered with the Florida Department of Consumer Services, ensuring that 100% of donations benefit Hope Hospice.

"My GOSH I'm in tears writing this!! What an AWFUL cruel woman you have for an assistant manager! I bought this projector for $60 as a gift to my kids to show them their deceased grandpa on Christmas. They opened it, we plugged it in, 60 seconds it starts bellowing black smoke. Terrifying for my 2 autistic son's and devastating to us. I thought for sure being a kind store I've shopped at for YEARS they would do some store credit. But instead I got an angry loud uncaring woman who clearly doesn't like her job. The other employees were so calm. Shameful to not even care you sold something deadly!!!!"
