About the Business
The Venice Area Pregnancy Care Center, located at 301 Bayshore Drive in Venice, Florida, is a non-profit organization founded in 1985 to assist families with children in Venice and South Sarasota County. Our mission is to provide support to parents in need, offering gently loved clothing, baby furniture, baby food, diapers, and more. Through grants from community organizations and local businesses, we are able to help families create safer and healthier environments for their children.
Our annual Cradle Award luncheon recognizes individuals, groups, or organizations that have made significant contributions to the Center's mission. We recently presented the award to John and Kathy Yaglenski for their dedication to the Pro-Life cause and their support of the Center.
Longtime volunteer and Board member, Agnes Reid, was also recognized for her invaluable contributions at the luncheon. Although stepping down from her Board duties, Agnes will continue to volunteer her time and support the Center.
The Annual VAPCC Christmas Cottage will be open from November 27th to December 22nd, offering new and gently used toys, holiday clothing, and other items for clients to choose from. New clients are welcome to contact the Center for more information on services provided. Contact us at 941-485-1776.

"This is a great place for mothers that don't have the resources to get everything for their children! The ladies there are wonderful! Every time I go there they supply me with more than enough stuff! I got pamper diapers, a big thing of formula, multiple outfits, sleepers, swim shorts, baby food and cereal!! They will even provide a new car seat for you! If you need anything for your baby call them first to see if they have it like pack n plays, cribs, bassinets, toys. They are a lifesaver ❤️ you ladies rock!"
