"A must visit! They were beyond accommodating for my 92 year old granddaughter. They went out of their way to make every bit of the the experience accessible for someone who can barely walk. Nicest people and friendly animals. My grandmother who fights to get out of the house didn't want to leave this place! She was sitting with the birds singing to them in a beautiful moment."

"What an amazing experience! I was able to book the tour the night before and I'm so glad I did! The tour started promptly at 11 AM and felt very casual yet thorough. We were introduced to the sanctuary and met some of the friendlier birds that were not caged. Next after history and explanations of the mission of the sanctuary, we walked to different sections and interacted with the birds under the helpful guidance of the volunteers. I brought raw, unsalted almonds to feed the birds, others brought dried berries. It was such a fun time, I would definitely recommend it and I can't wait to go back!"

"Such an amazing experience! Non-profit run and they really have a great variety of birds to see, feed, and learn about. The guides are very educated and you can tell that they care deeply about these magnificent birds. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the Naples area!"

"The beginning of the visit was wonderful as the worker allowed anyone who wanted to hold the ambassador birds and take pictures to do so. The problem was that there were too many people and we couldn't hear anything he was saying about them. The guy that brought us into the sanctuary was worse because we never even saw him. By the time we got back there, he was finished with his information and disappeared. The birds are absolutely beautiful and seem quite happy."

"Had a really fun couple of hours here this week meeting all the birds. Host was lovely, as were the volunteers that met us on arrival. The birds are obviously very well looked after and loved. Listening to them all saying "hello" "hi" and "I'm Richard" is something we'll never forget. This is a free activity with a voluntary contribution if you want to help out. Definitely recommend a trip there and please leave them something. It's such a kind thing to do for these birds and can't be cheap to run."
