BIG CYPRESS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

"My son haven’t been here a month and already I’m we’re having problems. The staff here at like they know something I don’t know like they sit around talking about me by using my truth against me. Very high school and very unprofessional! Then Greene gives my a laptop that doesn’t work so I take it back and got home and you guessed it she gives me the same computer that doesn’t work but had the nerve to catch an attitude when I asked her to check it to see if it works before I get home because I don’t have a car to get around or money to pay people unnecessarily. I am so frustrated with this school. I am withdrawing my son because my goal is to send my son to college after high school and they’re making it hard to do it!"

"I was invited for my grand daughter at STEAM competition, LittleBit event. It was held at FSW center in Lely Resort, the event was very well organized....Teachers nicely conducting tours for parents and visitors every 10 mins....."

"Teachers are great (some I should say) they have a teacher from two years ago that is still being investigated for inappropriate behavior with his students! Sickening right? I’m still having to take my child to court over this so I can’t comment no more then that. The zero tolerance on bullying and fighting is a bunch of B.S they don’t do a darn thing other then a little talk. The bullying and fighting has my son in fear of going to school because he doesn’t feel safe! My son was jumped on the bus and harassed by a grown adult who actually come onto the bus My child will be staying home! My child is not the only kid that has a problem my son has given me lots of names of other kids that are being harassed/picked on with name calling throwing stuff hitting which I did turn those names over to school the only advice I can give is sit down talk with your son or daughter and make sure everything is okay with them because it took a lot for our son to open up to us and he had a large mark on his face that he finally came clean about the truth of what was really going on.The media will soon be notified And yes the cops are involved superintendent was notified next call is DFS and the state board for the Florida school district! This mom and dad won’t back down till this school stands by there own handbook there is a lot of lack of accountability!"

"It is a gem of a school. Teachers are wonderful and caring. My kindergarten daughter learned to read in 4 months going to school. the staff really makes this school one of the best in the area. great communication from the office staff as well. Lots of individual attention from my daughter's teacher Mrs. Marcentonio. wonderful and very patient."
