Visit during the park's operating hours of 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily from March 15th to September 30th, and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily from October 1st to March 14th. "What should be a bare bones park is anything but. Very small, but still has a well paced nature trail, a decent playground, a tennis court, and a memorial garden. The property used to be an upscale residence with a horse pasture and tennis court. While the tennis court remains, the pasture has returned to nature and is a very nice educational resource to demonstrate how urban spaces can be re-natured very quickly"

"The nature trail was shorter than I expected but still an enjoyable, and thankfully shaded walk. Although, I wish I had seen more of the creek since the entry to the nature trail appears to be the only place to do so. The memorial garden for suicide survivors was also a thoughtful touch."
"Perfect trail for pets, kids, and anyone looking for a relaxed stroll. The playground is covered (at least mostly) and great for preschoolers and up. PLUS, the water fountain is cold. Big plus."
