Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami

"My husband and I decided to spend NYE at this hotel and our experience wasn't great. There was only one working elevator and a lot of people had to wait 5+ minutes to get out of the hotel or to get back in. Our room was dirty - hairs, broken shower, mold in the shower. I'd also like to know ahead of time that there was no heat in the hotel and I wouldn't have picked this place knowing that turning on heat is not an option. This is definitely not a place for people with pets or small children. If you like to party and only need a room to sleep in, it's probably a good place for you, but in our case - we are not coming back."

"Dear reader, I have never slept in such a terrible Hyatt before. We are a group of 9 people, and let's start with the check-in, which went completely wrong. A significant amount of money was incorrectly blocked from my card. For such a busy hotel, only one elevator is operational, causing up to 10 minutes of waiting time. Breakfast is handled by one friendly guy who is overwhelmed. There are no tables for large groups, so we find ourselves sitting in a plant bed, unbelievable. It's now around 4:30, and our room hasn't even been cleaned. All of this for over $11,000 for these few days. I will write a review; it's truly sad to stay in such a bad hotel, especially coming from Amsterdam for grandpa's 80th birthday. This is unacceptable; I wonder if you can do anything to address our concerns."

"Just finished our second stay here, and we loved it! Keith at the front desk is great and was extremely hospitable during our stay. His help made our trip so much better. We also loved that beach chairs and towels are included, and spent most of our time on the beach. Our room was quiet, and the bed was comfy. Ming at the valet was also super helpful and welcoming as well. Can’t wait to come back again!"

"I liked this hotel as it is centered between Collins and Washington streets where most of the happenings are going and very close to the beach. The staff was pleasant and courteous and made you feel safe and welcomed. It was not a far walk from most of the restaurants and nestled on a side street where you don't get all of the walking traffic from the busy streets it sits between. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will meet your needs. I gave 3 stars on the service because they have a restaurant on the 3rd floor where the hotel lobby is located, and the staff is doing their best but needs more help for better service. The food was good, it just will take a while before you get what you ordered and to get served because it can get busy and there was only one person trying to take your order, make the drinks and bring your food to the table."

"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is excellent and has many great places to eat nearby. The rooms are very nice and clean. Above all the staff is awesome! Very very helpful to my husband and I on our honeymoon. 10/10 highly recommend!"
