AC Hotel by Marriott Miami Beach

"I had the pleasure of staying at the AC Hotel by Marriott in Miami Beach both a couple of years ago and recently, and both experiences were nothing short of spectacular. The hotel's sleek and modern design creates a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step through the doors. The rooms are stylishly appointed with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay, and the breathtaking views of Miami Beach from the rooms are simply mesmerizing. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to the beach. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well taken care of."

"First, I have to say that the customer service is top notch. From the lobby at check-in to the service from the bartenders at the rooftop pool....I would come back again just for the wonderful employees. The room is clean and the bed was very comfy! The beach is directly across the street. Beach chairs are provided to you. There is a very nice terrace with seating and games on the 3rd level if you want to sit and relax outside. The view from the rooftop pool is gorgeous! My one complaint is that we booked a room with a balcony (city view) because we wanted to sit out and watch the night life. The pictures online show a clear plexiglass type of balcony. What we got we a concrete wall with room for one chair. What good is a balcony if your view is a concrete wall? The hotel isn't even full so not sure why anyone would be given this room as a balcony room. We will take this issue up with Marriot directly."

"Hotel has a convenient location, few minutes to south beach and a walking distance to a lot of restaurants and stores. Front desk is hit or miss-some clerks were absolutely amazing and welcoming, some lacked basic customer service skills, wouldn't greet us (or some had poor english proficiency), or acknowledged the guests (overnight person), which was disappointing. Cleaning personnel were good. Room was a nice size, clean (although you have to ask the front desk for room service, which is not ideal-done every other or third day), and has a sleek modern look. Pool is on the roof, small, but not busy often, so we used it daily. There is a common area and a gym that we used as well, which was good. Starbucks within same building. Overall good stay and would return."

"Had a great stay at the AC Hotel Miami. Anthony at the front desk was fantastic. Very warm and welcoming. Room was great. Shower had both a rain head and a wand, nice and hot. Easy beach access, and a short walk to some great eating. Would definitely stay here again."

"Rooms were not cleaned well. We had an entire bench covered in saltwater and sand when we arrived and hair everywhere. The entrance to the hotel is awkward. The staff was 5 stars and very friendly. The showers, towels, and bedding are amazing, but the shampoo and body wash provided smells like cheap grandma perfume. The rooftop pool area was great, but I sat on a swing bench up there that was clearly broken, and no signage was applied and I fell on the ground. Later, a manager walked up and took a photo, but still no sign was applied and we had to warn other guests not to do the same as we did."
