"Nice disc golf course in a very popular park. Nice use of available trees and vegetation to make for some interesting holes. Water is near some holes but easy to avoid. Do not swim or attempt to get your disc out of the water. An alligator ate someone here."
"Found this beautiful little Park. Nice walk around the lake. It was active with a lot of Gators today. Spoke to one of the groundskeepers. He was telling me that a homeless man went to retrieve the disc golfs out of the lake and a gator got him. Whenever you're out and about by anybody of water here in Florida, you have to be aware of your surroundings at all times. Remember, Gators move quick. Great place to stretch your legs. Or play around of disc golf"
"Great course! Some holes had lots of tree, some were open fields, and some had water on the left side, even saw so alligators!"
"It's a large, walkable, multi-use park, with trails edging the large canoe usable, fishable body of water, trails on both sides of water, including forested sections. Not fully accessible, some areas nature runs its course unmodified. Lots of birds, different flowers, flowering plants, dragonflies, damsel flies,, lots of sign alerting visitors for alligators, but none seen yesterday. Picnic shelters for family events/parties bathrooms, recreational equipment, volleyball court, .... A beautiful chance to commune with nature!"
