"I’ve been in retail, customer service and management for most of my career. Never in my lifetime have I been to a dollar store that has a manager that treats her employees like working cattle! If an employee is busy stocking shelves and you don’t close for 5 more hours, there is absolutely NO EXCUSE that warrants you being locked in the office for your entire shift. Someone asked for a second line to be opened up, the manager came out and rather than do her job, screamed across the store for another employee who was clearly busy stocking shelves, to come handle it so she can go back into her cave. As a manager you’re supposed to set an example, work hard and others will follow suit but it’s apparent that this manager knows nothing about how to manager a store, let alone a team. Another thing I would like to add is, Dollar Tree has a dress code. While It may be loosely based, there is no reason for your chest to be hanging out (again, set an example) while on the clock. Dress appropriately. I don’t normally write reviews like this but I’ve been to this store often and everyone who visits feels the same way about you. It’s Time for corporate to literally give this store a change in scenery and management."
