24 Hour Fitness

"Their name is a lie, as they are closed from 8pm to 6am. So half of that 24 hours no fitness for you. Also the music youd think you'd get upbeat energetic music to help with your workout, nope it's been rap. Can't even call it music as theirs is just poetry to a beat machine. Not to say the genre is bad but there's no energy there to help keep you moving. If it wasn't to cold to use an outdoor pool and the only other place with an indoor pool closes even sooner, I'd quit."

"I’ve been a member here on and off for about 4 years now and this place has been like a home to me , but more recently I’ve noticed the overall hygiene of the entire building has gone downhill pretty severely, locker rooms included. My main issue is for the price of a membership, this gym is not “24 hours”. I understand the closing time changed to 11 pm due to covid, and it was annoying but understandable, but their recent change in hours to closing at 8 or 9 pm on weekends is ridiculous and abrupt. Unfortunately, it is in my opinion the highest quality gym in the Lake Mary/Sanford area, as it’s lifting-friendly, not super overcrowded most of the time, and there are no smaller lifting gyms in the area."

"It is an absolute treat to go to 24 hour. My priority right now is a pool area. I like to swim laps. There are three lanes. Usually I can always find one lane open two days ago they were full, but no problem I asked a guy on the end if I could share with him, and he says yes, everybody is nice the employees and clients. After swimming laps my treat is to get into the hot tub, the steam room and the sauna, which are always clean and smell good. You can’t say that about most places If there ever is an issue with anything Like the equipment upstairs they’re on it. The location is excellent, if you live in the Lake Mary Longwood area. Another plus is that it is close to my Yoga studio and shopping."

"I can’t take going here anymore. I have been going to this gym for 2 years now and the I can confidently say I have never seen ANYONE cleaning. Hair/dust all over, bitten off nails on the floor, machines feeling sticky, and always feeling itchy after using certain machines. This gym is straight up NASTY. In the last few days they have added a few new machines and they look like they were picked up from a dump. I really enjoyed this gym because it offered a few things other local gyms didn’t but it not worth how absolutely disgusting this gym is."

"This gym used to be great. Over the last year and a half, it has taken a steep downward turn. It's dirty, and now they've stepped up the even dirtier experience by taking away half of the cleaning stations so now the younger men that workout here have pretty much opted out of cleaning any equipment after they use it. The turf is always questionable in the cleanliness department, usually a shrapnel of hair, bits of paper towels, and whatever misc dirt people have tracked in the gym. The upstairs bathroom is disgusting. I've stopped using it because it's usually covered in urine and hair. More times than not, the cleaning stations are out of something, either spray or paper towels. Additionally, it's hit or miss if the equipment is going to be working. They also haven't updated the equipment with anything that focuses on a more modern lower body workout, like a glute bridge machine, etc. But there are plenty of cardio machines that hardly anyone uses! Also, a whole desk area upstairs that hasn't been used for the entire time I've been coming to this gym. I honestly can't believe that 24hr corporate has let this gym in such a nice area get so bad. Maybe they just need to sell it off to a brand that will come in and start over. Totally embarrassing brand experience."
