"My podiatrist recommended a pair of orthotics back in May, 2022, $400. I asked him how long he thought they’d last and he said about 10 years. Mind you I never took this to mean that was a warranty just an opinion. 19 mos later and the left one has split. Dr. Recommended I take them to where he purchased them and “Peter” said this was normal. He could make them look brand new for $90. For the $400 I initially spent I could have purchased several pair off line or with those companies that mail you the mold to send back for $150. Total rip off. Very disappointed."
"My daughter needed a last minute heel replacement on her dance shoes before state competition. The owner himself dropped everything to do the repair himself. You don't find costumer service like that any more. The entire staff was friendly and professional."
"I moved from out of state and regularly went to a local cobbler to add half sole protectors to shoes I thought I would keep for a while. I used to pay around $15, Peter's charges double that! I took in 3 pairs of shoes. The women's boots, the protector seemed short. The patent heels, the protector didn't match the sole and there was scuffing. The men's dress shoes, we repaired the heel at what seemed like an absorbanant price only to have the repair fail within a few months. They do have a quick turn around time. I wish we had more options in the area. I need better pricing and workmanship."
