"Please don’t go to this place for mechanic work. On 9/28/24 I had my alternator replaced. I was told it would take a few hrs when in fact it took all day. When I picked up my car I realized something was wrong, my car was running funny. I called to let them know and they said I needed to make an appointment. Mind you I had just left Mavis. On 12/23/24 my car kept acting up, I knew it was the alternator, I went to Mavis and I told them how my car lights interior and exterior were dimming in and out. Some guy said it was the starter. They asked me to leave my car. To my surprise they came back saying that it was my harmonic balancer and belt, but it could be other things, they wouldn’t know until they removed all the parts and the cost would be $580 or more, I was charged $80 for “testing my car” I told them not to touch my car. I picked up my car and took it to a Honda Accord mechanic, there were 3 Honda accord mechanics and the 3 looked at my car after having my car all day they said it was not the harmonic balancer. Went back to Mavis I explained what the mechanics said. The manager had my car tested and it came back that the starter, battery and alternator were testing fine. He said it was a short somewhere. On 1/15/24 I went to the the dealer and they said it was a faulty alternator. On 1/16/24 Mavis finally replaced it. I had to miss multiple days of work, had to have my husband drive me to and from mechanics to find out that it was the alternator all along. Don’t go to this place."

"Quality work and also a speedy service. I went in and did an oil change, gasket, tune up and a flush done. Gabe was my technician and he was absolutely a pleasure to have and was able to do my car efficiently and in realistic time manner. I was happy I did not have to wait all day for my car to be done. I will definitely recommend Mavis to my friends and family. Gabe you are awesome kiddos to you in giving me a great experience at Mavis."

"First of all, the reason I am reviewing this store has to do with things other than the quality of the work done. The things I needed to be done seem to have been done well. The staff was friendly and the service writer made sure all the work got done. However! Complaint #1: They were very slow. The entire job took 3.5 hours. And they were NOT busy by any stretch of the imagination. I don’t think the job should have taken so long. Complaint #2: i chose to wait at the store so I didn’t inconvenience anyone else in my life. But, had I known that the store was moldy, I would have gone to a different store. The ceiling over the service writer station was covered with water/mold spots and the tiles were sagging downward, showing that the water damage had been there a long while. The management at this store really needs to take better care of their customer’s and employee’s health. Black mold is not joke. 2 days later and I am still having a reaction to it. Complaint #3: When the work was done and I was trying to pay, they had the audacity to offer payment for a Google review. Personally, I think that is a shady thing to do. They literally TOLD me to get my phone out and review the store for a $10 discount off my bill. I declined. And the corporate management needs to know that this is completely unacceptable . For all these reasons I will avoid going back to this location and I am considering using a different tire company altogether."

"Worst tire shop in town! I called in the morning around 8AM to see if this tire shop had my tire in stock. I was told they did and could come in to have my tire replaced at 12PM. The associate at the store told me it would be a 45min-1hr wait for the tire to be replaced. Around 2PM I called concerned that my car wasn’t done yet and was wondering if something went wrong, I was told that they were a little backed up but my car was next and it would be done in the next hour. Around 4:30PM ( 30 min before they closed) I get a phone call saying the system showed they had 3 of my tires in stock when In reality they didn’t have any. Because I only had 30 min to find a ride and get my car I was not able to and had to leave my car overnight at the shop. The next morning my car still wasn’t done until 10AM. Waited 10 hours for a tire change when I was told it would be a 45min-1hr wait. When I drove off and got home I realized they left the tire key on my tire so I had to drive back to the shop to get it removed. Unfortunately I was late to work and never even got a discounted rate on my tire just an apology and a thank you for my patience. I will not be coming back to this shop even if it’s the only shop around with my tire. I will also never recommend this place to anyone."
