"This is a very small area with like three picnic tables. There is a boat ramp that gives access to the Hillsborough River. You can walk right up onto the River from here and see gators. There is also a bridge overpass and under the bridge are hills formed with medium-sized stones, but traversesal is possible and you can find yourself a nice spot to chill if you are careful."
"Very small park but still a nice place to hang out. Was not crowded at all. Everyone was friendly and respectful. You can fish, do a small BBQ or have a picnic. There were different bird species that were fun to watch. Quiet enough to take a nap on a picnic blanket and lots of shade from the beautiful trees. The weather was really nice too."
"Good nice quite place to cookout by the lake they have tables and is for boat launch mostly alot of parking the bathroom was weird there wasnt any soap but other then that was a great relaxing place."
"We put the boat in for a calming afternoon ride. There is one picnic table, and facilities. The facilities are minimal, at best. The river is completely minimum wake. Turtles, alligators, all types of birds and everything that was Florida from years past."
"Beautiful place. Best for Canoeing and Kayaking. The place is well maintained and has a very friendly and helpful staff. Beware of the alligators but. The moonlight canoeing is pretty amazing. For all of these things there is student discounts available for USF students."
