"Not very inviting. Went there to use to just use the wifi and relax away from the heat outside and got treated like a dog that doesn't belong there. I noticed the empty Rooms/Lounge (mid-day 12 pm, slow time) room to get out of the way of the people walking through only to be approached by the staff and walked back to the front counter to be ID in the system and logged in, which is fine because I am a Resident of Largo and pay the monthly/yearly fees for the Rec center. But then was told I would have to purchase a room to use the wifi here again?! What?! But most of your rooms are empty and your literally have room called "Lounge"! What a waste of space! What's the point of a Community Center if the Community of Largo is treated like a peasant to profit off of?! Maybe this is a privately owned club? I don't know because this doesn't really feel like a community center at all."
"Sunday dance 6PM - 10PM - $10 admission - Entirely a crowd of seniors 55 and older ! DJ Mike Unwin mixes up some great tunes from the groups past along with some modern music and a variety of line dances - Singles welcome and encouraged to join in the fun!"
"The dance DJ had a really great playlist. The center has one of the best dance floors around! I'd like to see more people ages 40-50."
"We had a baby shower for 30 people at the Largo Community Center and I highly recommend using the center for any special occasion party or gathering. The service was exemplary, Christina Lorenz, Manager made sure every detail was covered. Upon arriving on the day of the event, I was greeted by an employee named Scott who went above and beyond to ensure our shower was a success! He even sharpened pencils for us! I will be using Largo Community Center for future events! Thank you, Christina and Scott for a successful baby shower!!"
"Very nice staff and a beautiful building. We went there to get photos of our dogs with Santa Clause. All the dogs and all the people were well behaved while we were there. Bringing the dog community together."
