"I love this park it's really beautiful to take your children and grandchildren. I wish we had more officers patrolling there. We took our grandson on a Saturday and there was two kids riding around on mini bikes and lots of dogs some not on leashes. You need a big sign outside the park fence that sates the rules. Also we saw a man walking with a gun on his belt. It is a nice park, but sometimes I worry about safety there."

"Tried this park out recently with the family and wow did it please us. There is literally so much to do here from jungle gyms, basketball courts, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, soccer field, huge walking trails and so much space to fly kites (we did). I would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't been here yet!"

"This park used to be good, about ten years or so ago. I understand they are in the process of cleaning it up and all, but, the playground is lacking. They need better lighting on the walking path, as, once it gets dark I wouldn't dare walk the whole length for fear of being jumped. This park has had it share of people having run ins with the law. I feel they need to enact more safety features as well. One particular visit, the lighting was so bad, while walking through the grass, I didn't notice "holes" in the lawn. I wound up falling down hard on my knee. I already have bad knees so I couldn't walk right for days. They should've had it blocked off with that terrain being as bad as it was. This park is about a 15 minute walk from my home, so, it's convenient to go to. Hopefully, once they're finished renovating it'll be safer and cleaner."

"There's something about parks that are super open that I really don't like. I have a toddler and I had to try to keep him from running into the parking lot, a grown man's basketball game and various other locations. It is a decent park. It's probably great for older kids but for a toddler it doesn't work great. I prefer playgrounds that have a fence around the playground area with a gate."

"If you love the beautiful trees in the park, let’s stop the county from allowing these builders from not following our County Ordinances including the County allowing it. The subdivision of SpringHill is getting infilled with many of the vacant lots being stripped with no regard to our County Ordinances. If you want to preserve our beautiful landscaping then please speak up. Write the County Commissioners and ask them to follow the guidelines given to them to preserve our County! If you’re interested in the Ordinance go to the Hernando County website, look up ordinances, go to Chapter 10 Community Appearance, and read sections 10–22 through 10-36. Then, ask why our county is allowing our natural habitat to be stripped of natural habitation and replaced with sticks of trees. Also, ask yourself where the wildlife is going including our Sandhills Cranes!"
