Carol's Smart Start

"Our little guy has been attending a little over a year now and I have nothing but good things to say about Carol, Charity and Austin. They are genuine people who actually care about the children’s well being and education. Little background; Caiden has been is now 5 and prior to attending here, he was kicked out of 4 child care facilities for behavior since he was 3 years old. He would not use his inside voice, sit still when asked, and picked up a bad habit of biting other children, and even his teachers at one point. We were hopeless. We really thought no matter what we did to try to stop this behavior- we weren’t going to be able to find a set child care program for very long without having to find another in the area that he hasn’t already been banned from. Carol’s been at it for over 30 years and it definitely shows! Not only has Caiden learned how to read, write, spell, do simple math, but his behavior is completely turned around. The amount of patience and energy that they put into these children really shows and I am so grateful we discovered their program when we did. They do so much with the children too! For example they had our local fire station come out with a truck and a couple firefighters to give a presentation and shoot the water out of the hose - They had a REAL butterfly garden showing the stages of life from caterpillar to butterfly- They have had plenty of farm animals as guests for education and of course the cute factor. That’s only a few. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home to your child-THIS IS IT. Now our little man is completely ready for kindergarten and is able to keep a few friends from this experience. We thank you for that and are forever grateful."

"My son has been coming here since he was 6 weeks old. We have nothing but great things to say about Carol, Charity, and Austin! My son just turned 3 years old last month and he is well above his age readiness. She allows all the kids to participate in the activities if they show interest even at the younger ages. I’m VERY picky about my children and where they go and how they are cared for! My son is VERY happy and comfortable here!"

"What an awesome daycare! I started taking my son Noah to Carol's smart start in late 2017 early 2018. He had just turned 3, was not potty trained, liked to throw temper tantrums, and loved the word "no". After a year of taking him to this amazing southern style daycare he is fully potty trained and never has accidents. He's very polite and respectful and always listens the first time. He learned his ABC's and how to count. And he has decided he wants to be a fireman since they had the local fire department come out for the kids. The prices are very fair. the education the children receive is priceless and the bond between Ms.Carol and the children is wonderful. They have great hours and offer late pick up at a reasonable price if needed. The kids love the giant playground and make art in the class room to take home to the parents. We recently moved and it's too far to take him to daycare there but we definitely miss it! thank you so much for everything! My son and I love Carol's smart start and I highly recommend it to everyone."
