Outback Steakhouse

"I haven’t been to this outback location for lunch ever and today was my first time giving it a try. We decided several weeks ago to start hitting as many restaurants as possible for lunch to expand our list of “Go To”places. So we popped in about 1110 in the morning and were the first ones through the door and were quickly seated in the bar at an elevated booth which was perfect for the two of us. A very nice young man quickly brought us iced tea and offered us a loaf of bread which we declined, trying to watch the calories but I’m sure it would’ve been excellent Here’s the kicker in this review, all of us agree that you can’t drive through anywhere in most towns and get out for less than 10 or $11 So our goal was to hit as many restaurants as we could and enjoy the lunch menu for somewhere around 9.99 or 10.99 So far we have had great success. Bridget is a hamburger connoisseur and quickly settled in on it. Well done. I did the unlimited soup and salad with Tasmanian chili as the soup and a wedge salad, which was off the chain wonderful.. I was warned that the chili was spicy. I would call it about a 6 1/2 or 7 on my scale, and it was advertised to be steak and beans mostly steak and it was extremely hearty. The service was excellent and lunch was way better than driving through and having somebody pass you hamburger through the window and there’s no way I could’ve ever gotten a 9.99 soup and salad through any drive-through chain and Jacksonville. Definitely worth trying if you have the time for lunch BTW - the soup and salad portions were so generous to begin with. I never even thought about going back for seconds. I’m sure we’ll be trying dinner there soon"

"Strange Outback! Friday night & NO wait time for table! I've never been in an Outback on a Friday or Saturday night without a wait time! Parking IS Limited (but I found a spot across from handicap ramp) but big shopping center lot right across street, so?? New? Strange location? No idea!! BUT: Service wasn't the fastest after being seated, but as soon as I ordered, things arrived quickly. Food was served hot! Was Outback tasty! The portion was nice sized. Waitress recognized Military ID, got my 10% discount. Gave me second drink in travel cup which was nice. I do not understand why this place isn't packed!!! Glad it wasn't, I was seated immediately & food was great!"

"We got the slow-roasted prime with with mashed potatoes and French onion soup, and Ribeye and choice shrimp with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was so cheesy and the Ribeye was one of the most juicy best tasting steaks I've ever tasted. The slow-roasted prime was good, different, but good. The French onion soup was also really good. The mashed potatoes would have to be the least liked item we ordered. It was very bland and didnt come with butter either. You have to add a decent bit of salt (i think they forgot to salt it when mashing) and use the butter that comes with the complimentary bread to make it good. Overall great experience! Staff was friendly and I had a great time."

"We had a great time and service was perfect. I had the smoked porterhouse which was delicious but to thin. Nothing like the picture. The Mrs had the ribeye and coconut shrimp and she enjoyed her meal. The star of the show and I hate to admit it was the chili. Was a perfect concoction and the meat was tender and the seasoning was great. I only got a cup and should have gotten the bowl."

"I went here with my wife on Veteran’s day and they gave us a free bloomin’ onion. It was really good. We got some steak and it didn’t even need sauce, it was already very good and it was perfectly cooked as you can tell by the picture. 10 stars!"
