"Having relocated here from Pennsylvania, we're estatic that we found Brandi!!! She is always so accommodating to fit in Echo, our fur baby, for his nail trimming/buffing. She is always so sweet and handles all who she encounters with tenderness & love. Petco should be extremely proud to have her working for them!!!!"

"Brandi was absolutely fantastic!! It was our first time here in Florida. We just moved from New York. I was a bit skeptical at first, but Snoopy needed to be groomed. As soon as we walked in Brandi knew who he was!! The haircut, the greeting, everything was outstanding ❤️❤️❤️"

"Brandi always does a fantastic job clipping my dog’s toenails. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. We love going to Petco. Alley gets to see all the animals (Cats, ferrets, etc. that she normally never encounters, so it’s a fun field trip for her. And of course we never leave without getting a new toy and treats! We love Petco!"

"Brandy is rude and has no customer service skills at all! She called me after I scheduled a grooming appointment in person with her after the store manager recommended her. My puppy had her previous grooming at Lady Lake aborted because she nipped at the clippers. They didn’t even try to work with her to show her the clippers weren’t going to hurt her. So I decided to change to the Ocala store. After making the appointment, Brandy called me to tell me that she refused to groom my dog because my dog was horribly misbehaved. Brandy has never even seen my dog so she has no idea how my dog behaves. She said that she is not taking new clients and especially not big dogs. I wouldn’t call a 38 lb dog big. The receptionist had no problem making the appointment so I don’t believe that Brandy is not taking on new clients. I asked her to speak to their trainer who knows our puppy well. She said she had spoken to her. That was a lie because I spoke to the trainer. She has been our trainer for both puppy level classes and is continuing her into the adult level classes. I have never been treated so badly by a service provider before. I have called Corporate to lodge a formal complaint and also lodging one with the store manager. I would not recommend the Ocala Petco grooming department to anyone. I recommend you run the other way and not look back. If that’s how Brandy treats owners, just imagine how she must treat your precious fur babies behind your back!"

"I recently moved to Ocala and needed a new groomer for my previous one although absolutely excellent was too far away. I brought my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier here for 2 reasons: availability for grooming on Sunday and it had great reviews. Terrible mistake on my part. The only good thing that happened was that the staff was polite. If you happen to have a hairy dog or a specific breed haircut I honestly caution you to think twice before coming here. I asked the groomer (Kristina) for a level 5 haircut which would take a lot of the hair out but without reaching a shaved level. I specifically requested the groomer NOT to shave her on 3 different occasions. I showed her a picture from another dog so that she could have a better understanding of what I wanted. When I went to pick up my dog she gave me play by play of how the grooming went and she didn't have anything good to say about my pupper. My dog doesn't like the blower, that I know, but other than that there was every issue under the sun including that my dog supposedly bit her. Biting was so strange to me. I've never heard about any of this from my previous groomer and I always asked how the dog behaved. After this conversation she brought the dog out and I wanted to cry. She shaved the dog completely except the beard and tail. I asked her what happened to her hair and smiling she said that the blade wasn't going through. I couldn't understand why if she was having any type of issue from the beginning she didn't call me to have the dog picked up before resorting to shaving her. Such blatant disregard and disrespect to me, to the dog and for instructions. The perspective shouldn't be focused on whether the dog bit her or not. It should be what was she doing to the dog that the dog felt threatened enough to allegedly biting her. I say allegedly because she never showed me where my dog supposedly bit her. Hair grows I get it, what bothers me the most it's the lack of respect, care and consideration when I specifically asked not having the dog shaved. If she didn't know how to properly give my dog a hair cut I would've understood and I wouldn't have minded taking the dog somewhere else. If I had wanted the dog shaved I would have done it at home and would have saved the $117 I paid before the brought out (Customers must pay before the pet is picked up) I was so in shock that I was speechless. It was clear that the experience was traumatic for the dog too. Her ears were red and had little red dots in them. She winced when I touched her ears and she was having a hard time laying in the bare floor without any floof. Had the saddest look for hours. I was angry for me and for her. I will never set foot here again and I will make sure I share this experience with everyone in hopes no other pawparent experiences this with their pupper. Management you're more than welcome to call me and reimburse the haircut! Thank you!"
