Yellow Pony Pub and Garden

"My family and I were at the World Equestrian Center for my daughter’s wedding at the chapel there (she is a longtime member). We went and got in line at the Yellow Pony and some lady came in around everyone else who was there already waiting in line and she cut the line in front of me and the hostess was adding her name to the wait list in front of everyone else and I let the hostess know that the lady had cut the line and I insisted that she put my name in front of the lady who had cut the line. So after not getting a text for nearly 30 minutes I went back to the restaurant and there was the lady who cut the line and her party already seated. I asked to speak with the manager who I explained what happened and she apologized but never reprimanded the hostess or never said anything to the hostess in front of us about what she had done. Of course I let her know that I didn’t appreciate her seating someone who cut the line in front of everyone else first before seating my family. The snooty arrogant people there who think that they’re better than you get treated better. I’m handicapped and disabled and have dealt with a lot of discrimination since becoming disabled. I now live in a society where the rich get treated with royalty and privilege while others get treated poorly and disrespected because of their color or condition. This place discriminates against disabled folks and I would Not recommend that anyone else be treated like my family did on February 10th 2024."

"First time coming to the Pub.. It's inside the World Equestarian Center (WEC) hotel entrance. Wait was about 1 hour but worth it. Food was delicious. Hotel lobby is beautiful with little shops, bakery and toy store."

"We were on a girls weekend in Ocala and decided to visit the Equestrian Center. Although the weather was not typical of Florida we found the Yellow Pony to be an elegant spot to celebrate our weekend. The service was excellent, and the server was extraordinary! Christopher, our bartender, was very attentive and informative about the bourbons they stocked! The flatbread and charcuterie board were delicious. It has a nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the cocktails and the food was really good."

"We stopped by to have some cocktails at the bar on Thursday evening before dinner. It was busy but we were able to get a spot. The cocktails were beautiful and good, but not great. If you enjoy gin and bourbon, you might like it. The milk punch lacked flavor. The nachos were right next to us. Noise made it hard to hear inside."

"This restaurant is located in the beautiful Equestrian Hotel, just inside the lobby. It has a full bar and the restaurant is nicely decorated. The service was excellent, and the server was friendly and attentive. The food menu is small but everything is perfectly done. It has a nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the cocktails and the food was really good. The restaurant was packed with 20 min wait on a Saturday, but I asked about the empty tables with the saddle chairs and apparently not many people like those, so we got sat immediately and the saddle chairs made it fun."
