"I stayed in room 218 with the jacuzzi for my birthday February 4 to relax not knowing I wasn't going to have hot water the entire night. The guy at the front desk lied saying maintenance was coming, but they never showed up to fix the issue. I didn't take a bath till the next morning. The manager Erick only gave me 15% off which was ridiculous. It was hair all on the dryer from the previous person that rented the room. This tells me they don't clean the rooms properly. The whole experience sucked. My BIRTHDAY was ruined. Thanks alot.."

"So many people take the time to write bad reviews and complain, I am writing to recommend this hotel highly. My family was here and I surprised them at the hotel.When I saw their accomodations compared to mine,where my company had put me up for the weekend on business, well I will be requesting this hotel be added onto our company list for my next trip out to Ft. Lauderdale! You CAN NOT BEAT THE PRICE for the location you are at and how close the beach is to the property!I am an older woman and am extremely picky when it comes to the comfort of the beds and the cleanliness of the rooms and this hotel had both! They even have a grill that you can cook your own food at if you feel like just hanging in and sitting by the pool. When asked for extra towels the house keepers could not be more willing to make you comfortable and upon leaving and checking out,the young gentleman at the front desk could not be any more kind and helpful and was willing to even help us with our bags.Thank you Mark and your amazing staff! We will definitely be back and from the experience I had at this hotel, I will be adding it to our work directory."

"The first thing that created an unpleasant start was some rude manager, who, instead of solving the situation that had tangled up through their mistake, communicated very unpleasantly. The hotel itself is okay, but there was an unpleasant smell, and a cockroach fell through the ventilation in the bathroom. The sea is close, but it takes 15 minutes to walk. On one side, the hotel rooms are very dark as they don't get sunlight in the morning, but on the other hand, the windows face the street, and everything is terribly loud – it feels like sleeping on the street. Overall, the hotel has paper-thin walls and very loud devices like the air conditioning and refrigerator, so be prepared with earplugs. There were internet issues, but friendly guys fixed it the second time. I don't know if I would stay there again, it's 50/50."

"We just stayed here for 4 days. The hotel was clean the housekeepers were even washing the walls in the hallways. The check encounter is very nice but the rooms were very small and dark and the TVs were old. I honestly felt claustrophobic staying in our room. I was very unhappy that there was no mirror in the sleeping area so that when someone was shaving or brushing their teeth, someone else could be using another mirror to get ready, the sink area was very small with the mirror. In fact, my elbows kept hitting the walls on both sides of me when I was trying to put my hair up in ponytail. The staff is very nice and helpful. Also, the microwave and coffee maker are very inconvenient. It’s very congested what they have placed them ."

"Great location, just one minute from the ocean. The hotel is old. Rooms are big, walls are in formica which probably helps with keeping noise out. My bed was super super soft, I don't like super soft. Bathroom was clean but basic/low quality amenities. Old carpet everywhere. Staff was nice. Parking is $9. Overall it was good for one night, maybe I would have stayed two at the most. Four star because less would be unfair to the people who work there and make it an acceptable hotel. The physical space deserve 1 start at the most. Too old, too updated, it needs big renovation."
