"My bet is this hotel is either under new management or it's a franchise. I stayed here a few years ago and the general room upkeep and service was better then. The location is perfect which probably contributes to the hotel not needing to pay more attention to service and overall upkeep. Overall the experience is about the equivalent of a mid grade Hampton Inn on the side of the highway with a better view."

"I would highly recommend this hotel! It is right on the beach! The rooms are spacious and so comfortable. They have a lovely heated outdoor pool and a decent size fitness center. It is centrally located and walking distance from other shops and restaurants if wanted."

"Let me start off by saying that this is not a resort. So don't let the name fool you. This is a hotel that is close to the beach. We stayed for a week and booked with rewards points so I was told we would not be charged the "resort fee" of $30 something dollars a night But upon check in there was a pending charge put on our card of $350. Then 2 days later another charge of $580. Upon check out I was told that those charges would come off and the charge for just the parking would be left. Well here we are 4 days after check out and the charges are still pending. So that was looming over our heads the whole time. The rooms are small and the finish quality is not what the pictures lead you to believe. Our bathroom had brown stains on the walls! Hmm....wonder what that could be. After 2 requests they cleaned the really obvious stain. But I literally pointed out the other stains on the other walls to the cleaning lady and she looked at me like I had 2 heads. Needless to say those did not get cleaned. I would expect a resort to have things included to really make you feel pampered and on vacation. This place did not have that. The only redeeming quality of this place is we were upgraded to a beach view room from a street view room. So the views were great. Street view would have been a big disappointment. And finally there is a fairly busy street between this hotel and the beach. So when you walk out you have to be careful of traffic. I would shop around before booking a stay here and see if $400 a night can get you something better."

"Very nice hotel right on the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Dining at the Patio Bar and Grill was the best. The service there was excellent. The staff seem happy to come to work and serve with a smile. We loved it. ❤️"

"Absolutely wonderful place. We’ve been staying here for over ten years when we are in town and we have never been disappointed. The location is hard to beat. Right on the pier, tons of bars and restaurants to walk to and really tropical vibe. The Patio Bar downstairs is great and always a good time. Rooms have been overall really well kept up over the years. Definitely worth getting an ocean front view as not much to look at facing the back. Highly recommend."
