"Got to the room around 11pm. There was no remote to the TV. I asked to change rooms because the carpet was nasty, still had food on it as if it was never vacuumed. She said there were none. After 3 trips to the front desk got one that worked. Finally showered, sat down on the bed, IT BROKE. Called down, again they said no other rooms. Sat down on the other bed and IT BROKE TOO! The next morning, I complained to the manager and with the most stoic response he said I should have changed rooms (which I could not) or left the hotel (I pre-paid) and he refused to give me my money back and called the police because I yelled. He can run the video back. And I overheard the maintenance man admitting that bed was broken."

"Room is definitely showing age. We had a staff member walk into the room unannounced, then the next day two other staff members knocked on the door prior to 1000. A photocopy of your DL is taken and a $50-$100 deposit is required. Bathroom sink drained very slowly. Early check-in costs $30 and the guest laundry facility was broken. Bed was comfy enough. Staff were friendly."

"My wife not knowing the state of Florida very well booked a room at this hotel on accident. I called the hotel not even five minutes later and explained what happened and told them that I needed to cancel and the clerk told me that she would bring it up to her manager and maybe he would reverse the charges. The next day the charges went through on my account and I tried to call and speak with the manager but he was not available. I left a message for him to call me two separate times and they assured me that he would reach out but I never heard from him so I got charged $141 and I never even stepped on the hotel property. This manager is a first class jerk and it’s evident from reading the other reviews where he goes online and argues with customers about their negative reviews. That’s called horrible customer service and a total lack of class by a very unprofessional manager. Stay at your own risk if you decide to stay here after reading all of the terrible reviews."

"After being the room for 4 to 5 hours found out there was no water pressure whatsoever in the sink the toilet and the shower. I notify the front desk they call the manager and told her to check it out in the room for herself to make sure that I was not lying. She came up to the room verified there was no water pressure whatsoever and all three locations she moved me after I had everything already unpacked and laying over throughout the room. I asked if there's going to be any accommodations for the move because it's not my fault to the water did not work in the room she said that the manager whose name is Clyde said he does not give any discounts any accommodation privileges or extra points whatsoever this is his hotel and Choice cannot make him do it. I already filed a formal complaint with Choice Hotel."

"I would give this garbage dump 0 stars if I could! This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! I will never stay at ANY Comfort Inn again! Every other 1 star review you see is absolutely true. The carpet was dirty, the bathroom was run down, the toilet would not flush without the handle being held down, the elevator did not work, no sink stopper, dirty coffee maker, poor room service, ice machines on every floor were not working, poor breakfast and the juice machine never worked, moldy shower head and loose shower rod, and finally, I was shown three rooms to switch to and they were all terrible. I am contacting the corporate office and the health department! DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!! Update: I filed a complaint with the corporate office who informed me that the manager refuses to even address the issue. I asked how they could let this happen to which they responded that they will give me points to stay at any comfort inn for a night. I will never stay at any comfort inn again! To address the unprofessional response - The clerk did try to give me another room. On the first night, I was told that there were no rooms available. On the second night, I was shown three rooms and they were all terrible. I was shown these rooms after someone who was about to check-in heard me complain and asked to be shown their room. They returned to the lobby after seeing several rooms and stated that each one of them was dirty. This was late at night! I would like to see your response to the Health Department! Anyone reading my review can see the other reviews stating the same thing. Your rude comments and disrespect is on display for all to see!"
