"Nice store - lots of beach stuff, clothes, and souvenirs. This would be a good place to get sandcastle making stuff, like sets of shovels and buckets were a good deal here! There were some sales on sandals and decent prices on some souvenirs. Located in a nice little mall."

"We came in here looking for fix a flat for my flat tire but they didn't have any. I have an air compressor in my car but the battery was dead so I couldn't use it because I didn't have an extention cord to charge it with. The sweet clerk gave me their personal use extention cord from behind the counter and refused the money I tried to give her for it. Such a God send. I will definitely be shopping here in the future. Good people."

"We visited Sanibel Surf Shop August 13th and were so happy to see them open and were welcomed with great enthusiasm!! Missy and Bart could not have been any more helpful and so professional in their demeanor and knowledge of their product. Further conversation with them was quite heartwarming and we will always return to the surf shop if only to have the opportunity to catch up with Missy and Bart. This was our first visit back to Sanibel since the devastating hit by Ian last year. We have been so concerned but the resultant time in your store returned a portion of peace regarding the future of Sanibel overall. Thank you so much and we look forward to visiting again, soon!"

"I recently visited the Surf Shop yesterday (4/22/23) with my family. My girlfriend and I are out here visiting my parents. It was my girlfriends first time out of the Windy City. Upon entering the store, Mary greeted us with a genuine smile and interest in our shopping experience. It was nice to feel welcome. You don't get that a lot nowadays. She answered questions and I could see she was doing this with every customer she encountered. During our shopping experience we also encountered Ana. Ana said she loved the shirt I had picked out. She as well, was very genuine and helpful and fun to talk to. While we were having conversation at checkout, a customer came in line behind us and Mary made sure to check them out so then we didn't feel rushed to end our conversation and leave. I hope to see them both when we visit again. I hope to see these two the next time we visit and go to the shop. This Surf Shop is definitely lucky to have employees like these. "Sanibel Surf Shop has entered a phase of decline, possibly due to Covid-19. It pains me to say this, but it was obvious during our visit today. There used to be a nice home goods selection, now it is pool toys, more t-shirts and cheap souvenirs. Hopefully they will make their way back and we can shop again. If you need squirt guns, key chains, t-shirts, this is your place."
