"Oh my gosh! We are vacationing here in Arcadia, Florida, and we were walking down Oak Street in the historic district and happened upon this GOLD MINE! I am an avid book reader (even in this day of high tech), and the Dragon's Den Book Shop caught my eye. Not only do they have a fabulous selection of both hard back and soft back books, they have new editions and older versions. I was in heaven. Also, the owners are a wealth of information on the authors and general book knowledge and history. I wish I lived here! I would be a regular. If you visit Arcadia, Florida, you HAVE to come here!"

"So many books to choose from! They have candles and a reading nook. She is located in a historical district across the street from a coffee shop too! What else can you ask for in a great book store. Also has collectible books and a big section on my favorite genre HORROR!"

"Welcome to a bookstore that feels like home, you walk in and your greeted by some lovely people, a whole lotta books, and a whole section dedicated to Star Trek alone! There's all sorts of sections where you can see stuff, my favorite is the band books section. "If they are trying to ban it then you should read it" is definitely something said alot here which is wise words. Not only that they have plenty of books based around LGBT+ characters which in Florida Is a surprise. You can sit down and read even if you aren't buying the book (even though you should). You can buy candles and bookmarks here too! 10/10 great bookstore, it's a shame it's only open on the weekends"

"A lovely little book stop filled with personality. Although we came 20 minutes prior to closing they were more than welcome to keep their doors open for us until we finished browsing. Their hospitality was exceptional, helping us browse books no matter what odd request or theme we proposed. After finishing our time browsing they even pointed out spots we should check out since we were new to the area."

"There are bookstores and then…there are BOOK STORES. I search out local bookstores everywhere I travel, and always ask the same question - have you got anything rare? My first visit was amazing (couple of first prints), and my second visit had me coming home with a first edition, newly banned, Animal Farm. They can also locate books for you. And the children’s section?? Amazing! As soon as I can get get a Mimosa while relaxing in a comfortable chair perusing new titles, it will be my Saturday morning ritual!!!"
