"Any review pertaining to delivery issues and lost items here are legitimate, and there’s a lot of them. I read them thinking, that wouldn’t happen to us since we had always had a good experience with Pottery Barn. I was wrong. After months of issues trying to replace our defective glider, I give up. Be forewarned, it’s not good. You’ll need more patience dealing with them than your newborn. People on the phone are saints, the warehouse and logistics is an embarrassment. I hate leaving one stars but seriously think twice on this purchase. Especially if it’s coming out of the Lakeland distribution center."

"Do not order from them unless you don't really care when you going to receive your order, or if you will receive it at all. Delivery date keeps changing on items without any notification. I ordered Christmas item back in November. The delivery date has changed 3 times already. I am not even sure if I am going to receive it at all, so I ordered from another company. Customer service is worthless. Do not bother calling."

"We ordered the tree house bunk beds. The bed arrived with no screws to put the bed together. The bed has been sitting in the bedroom for 2 weeks while Pottery Barn searches for the missing screws. The managers do not communicate, have zero urgency to correct the issue, and we have to constantly continue reaching out. The issue has still not been resolved."

"I ordered a glider for my nursery in-store from an assistant manager. Knowing the issues Pottery Barn has with "made to order" items (in that they take MONTHS to years to ship) I wanted to make sure that the item and color I ordered was already made. The assistant manager helped me select a color and item that she assured me was "in stock and ready to ship". However, I have now come to find out that it isn't in-stock and is being made... which means that I will not receive my item in time for my baby's arrival. I ordered the item almost 3-months in advance, so they have had plenty of time. Customer service said they cannot cancel my order as it was "made to order" (which, again, I was told the item was "already made")."

"Beautiful shop, no doubt! Very overpriced and the staff never moved from behind the counter! Watched us struggle, lugging bedding throughout the shop! Nothing I picked up was under $39.50! Amazon has the same books for $11.00. I get the unusual items, designed by Monique Lhillier are crazy expensive BUT WORTH IT. How about a reasonable price on the rest of the items? Loved seeing the newest & prettiest, but would not purchase again. Bought Star Wars bed ensemble. $190 for sheets for a 4 year old? Yea, one timer for sure! Had serious buyers remorse. Kept it. Ughhh. Lol"
