"Writing a review of the rooms only. Did not visit the bar except to check in. The staff was pleasant and helpful anytime we talked to them. Stayed in room 7. The ‘blinds’ for the room looks like a person missing far too many teeth. They have tried to remedy this but draping a curtain over the pre existing rod that fell off anytime you touched it. Therefore getting the room dark was nearly impossible. The refrigerator, while it kept the food cold, leaked water the entire stay inside and out. The mattress has to be the worst one I’ve ever slept on and that’s some feat as I spent 25 years on active duty as a US Marine and slept in some pretty horrible places around the world. The floor was quite dirty as evidenced by our socks. While mostly convenient to all things Key Largo, the price is cheaper than anything around. I now wish we had paid a little more for a better place. We were passing through visiting some friends who live nearby and thankfully didn’t need to spend much time there except to get some fitful sleep and hygiene. Checked out a day early for a family illness and they wouldn’t refund the balance because of a “48 hour notice” that I can’t find in any paperwork or email. Also, getting anyone on the phone is quite difficult as well. No option to leave a voice mail. Roku tv was nice but the cable didn’t work."

"Great place/location Good people We'll the Manager came in & No RVs allowed after spending a few Hours enjoying conversations with members even stated a donation & not even a $100. donation would not get me a overnite stay So I'll go after relaxing"

"2 stars because the price was cheap. With covid I thought it would be clean at least. It wasn't. The door took considerable force to open and even more to close.. The tile floor was dirty as evidenced by the picture of my socks. I found the spider while looking for an outlet. Being part of the Moose organization I expected better."
