Camp Margaritaville Auburndale

"Nice clean park. Location not great. Not much to do around the area unless you travel a bit. Located along major road so lots of road noise and backs up to very active train tracks. Also if you stay in back part you will be looking at a huge factory building. Food and drinks not so great. Don’t get a tiki site, not worth it. You will loose a lot of space and it’s very tight. Will pick another destination next time. Overall we where pretty bored here."

"I recently stayed here for 2 months with my wife and 16 month old daughter. I’ll start by saying the grounds are nice and well kept and the gated security is 24hrs which is nice, but they will let anyone in as long as they see a tag in the window or on the dash. My friend visited once and they gave him a day pass, and he came and went as he pleased while we were there without question with a pass that was dated for the day he visited and expired lol. The price is on the higher end, and the food and drinks are also extremely over priced $20 for 8 wings is insane. The green where kids play is basically a free for all of children who’s parents leave them there to drink and the employees are all teenagers who play on there phones and chat with each other. They let the older kids takeover the green and they roughly play without a care in the world. After the first 2 weeks we were sick of the place and ready to get out and began the count down for our last day. There is also nothing to do anywhere near there or in Auburndale, no good restaurants unless you go over to the neighboring towns and even they are a hit or a miss. They also make you wear a bracelet for the entire time you are there and if you happen to forget it they act as if you climbed over to gate to get some overpriced food and deny your order till you go get a bracelet. They have removable bracelets that are a $5 charge, we spent $8,000 to stay there for 2 months and they can’t throw in a removable bracelet lol. Meanwhile they must have given us over 100 bracelets while we stayed there, makes 0 sense. The place is over run by unwatched kids and teens recklessly driving golf carts and other motorized bikes and scooters. Definitely was not worth the 8k we spent, will never return."

"I cannot say enough good things about Camp Margaritaville Auburndale (although it's tempting to keep it a secret)! The RV sites are meticulously cleaned and well landscaped. I was very impressed watching the grounds team flip the campsites - they scrubbed and washed the picnic tables, scrubbed the charcoal grills (and these weren't the fancy sites!). It's clear the team takes pride in the facilities. There are constantly activities going on for families, adults. Mini golf (no extra charge), two pools, restaurants, bars, fire pits, live music, dog park, golf cart rental. Food is waaay better than Disney and more reasonably priced. We recommend the pizza, pulled pork sandwich and pork nachos! The best chill, family friend resort experience! We can't wait to come back!"

"Amazing facility. Very family friendly. Beyond pet friendly. Nicest mini golf course I’ve ever seen. Tons of activities for the kids, nearly all day long. The proximity to dining and shopping could be better. We spent 6 days there after Christmas."

"Wow, just wow! We came for a three night stay with multiple cabins and a RV hook up. The cabin was amazing!! The pools and splash pad were great, food was delicious and the service was very good. Loved the dog play areas as well. Will definitely return ans recommend it to others."
