Holiday Inn Express & Suites Crestview South I-10, an IHG Hotel

"I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night and got so creeped out that I wanted to leave the hotel, and I couldn't sleep until morning...... There was a huge cockroach flying around in the bathroom The construction workers left mud stains all over the hotel, from the lobby to the elevator and the third-floor corridor. They brought construction equipment into the hotel rooms, spilling a lot of dirt on the floor as they moved things around"

"Older hotel, not well maintained. Ants in the bathroom. Bathroom door at the bottom is water damaged and warped so it won’t even open all the way. Patched tub damage. Hotel has thin walls. I could clearly hear the neighbors talking through the bathroom vents and someone snoring in another room. I can also hear the traffic from I-10 even though it’s a block away."

"This is a mixed review as the room itself was good, but its location and noise level was terrible. The service was 50/50. The food also was 50/50. I’ll go by category. To preface, we were given the 1st floor and arrived around 10:30pm. Service: When we first arrived, we waited at the front desk to check in. The front desk worker came out of the back room and didn’t say anything but looked at us and we said reservation for “X”. She looked at the ID and the screen and asked in a rude tone “Are you sure it’s for this hotel?” We said yes. We showed the confirmation email and she went “Ohhhh you’re online check in.” We felt that it was unnecessary in terms of jumping to asking us if we were in the wrong spot. But for the following morning, the lady at breakfast was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Food: It was standard. Okay food but it is free so that’s nice. The biscuits were great and the bacon was crispy (good thing for me). Room: Great room, but first floor was so loud. We were woken up at least by 5am by what we assumed to be employees yelling and shouting in the dining room down the hall. While yes we were on the first floor, we didn’t pick that room and we felt that it should be quiet, especially if it’s the employees that were causing the noise. Conclusion: Not a bad hotel, just don’t stay on the first floor if you can."

"Great hotel, we had a very nice clean room that was comfortable. They provide a casual breakfast with many options. Friendly staff that made you feel welcomed. Near La Rumbas Mexican restaurant for dinner which is a bonus."

"I love this holiday inn Express, very clean, not run down. They have everything that you could possibly need. There are towel racks in the bathroom, you don't see that too often, that is a real plus. Beds are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend this holiday inn Express. Thank you"
