"Extremely disappointed with what I experienced 02/10/24 late afternoon at this store. After coming in and being impressed with the vibrant selection of items, I was quick to try on the beautiful bathing suits and dresses. Since I noticed one person on staff, I made sure to place the items I didn’t end up purchasing back on the rack to be polite. Now, at the cash register, the sales associate insinuates that the unwanted items I tried on were missing. As a minority, I acknowledged the micro aggression but decided to let it go and continue my shopping experience at the mall. At the end of the day, I decided to return to Copper Closet to buy a dress I initially wanted and was faced with the same accusatory sales associate, now with more force. This time publicly insinuating in front of other customers that I was at fault for the missing bathing suit (implying theft), I kindly reminded her that I placed it back on the rack for her. Regardless, it was very clear why I was being targeted amongst the other white customers. I hope the staff can learn to treat all their customers as equals someday. I’m sharing this so if it happens again you know it’s not an isolated incident."

"First time in this boutique and it was so cute! I’m from Miami and have been looking for a cute clothing store and this was perfect. The young lady helping was so sweet and helped me style a skirt I was intent on getting. They have trendy clothing and good variety without being overwhelming!"
