"A few weeks ago, I went in and immediately connected with a beautiful five month old kitten and adopted her. They said she had to be spayed before I could bring her home, when I arrived two days later to pick her up I was barely given instructions besides a paper and not to get it wet and to put a shirt or cone on her if she tried to go at the stitches. No cone was provided to me and was not told it would not be in advance so I had to run around to find a store with one. I've had two beautiful cats who were spayed before and they healed wonderfully when I went through this before in PA. I examined her stitches and the top looked open, I was told it was normal because they use glue to close it. Her setup is an e-collar and a medium sized kennel with blankets and a litterbox while she rests, she comes out for food and cuddle time though. A week later it still was not looking right. Instructions say to call if it looks irritated or unusual. I did so, and was told all surgeons are busy and would call me back. I did not get a call back. I called again and was told the same thing. Nothing. Called again a few days later after another vet clinic was nice enough to let me send photos to get an opinion. Still no call back or able to see her. A large scab appeared while I was at work and I had to take her to another vet and pay nearly $200 for medication, antibiotics, and pain meds with hopes this will help her heal. It is still opening and I honestly fear the worst. No pet owner to a new baby should go through this kind of stressful terror, I have not been able to sleep because of how worried I am about it and how much this forced spay before taking her home has now cost me out of pocket."

"This is one of the finest organizations I've ever come. Six weeks ago, I saw a small dog crossing four lanes of traffic, and remarkably she did not get hit. It was God's grace she was not injured, or worse. We did not rescue her, she rescued us. There are so many amazing animals that need homes. Call them, find your next pet. Grace was microchipped, fixed, registered, finished her shots, and officially became our girl today. Thanks to this incredible organization of caring professionals."

"My husband and I stopped in a few times and noticed a 5 year old shaved cat that wasn’t very social and had a limp. We continued to visit her for a week to see if she would come out of her shell which she did. The staff happily let me sit with her for hours. A staff member was also helpful when I asked to see her physical from the vet to get more information on what to expect from her limp. We were then able to make the decision to bring her home. Our spicy girl has filled our home with so much love and is so happy to be on a good treatment plan for her legs now."
