"I was shopping and had found three tank tops and one t-shirt that were all marked $5. My question to the cashier Marilyn was why are the t-shirts the same price as the tank. It was once the tanks were all $3. Another worker that was purchasing said the t-shirts and the tanks are $3. In walks an older lady with gray hair whom I guess is the store manager very RUDELY stated that they were all $5 because they were new. Not only did it make the cashier and the other worker look incompetent they also lost a sale."

"I lived in the shelter one of the worst shelter I’ve ever been in they hate people that worship the lord they are evil and worship the devil I was literally kick out on a Friday with two little kids no where to go I was never giving a warning or anything a lot of he say she say if you are ever homeless in the Hillsborough County area please I mean this only for good DO NOT GO TO MARY AND MARTHA HOUSE/ MAGNOLIA HOUSE look other places."

"I've never been there ,but I'm wondering if they could help a young man that is seen in Riverview. He has a small dog and I've seen them outside in this recent sweltering heat. He often sits outside walgreens on big bend rd. Please help him and his dog."

"Visiting from out of town and was recommended to this shop by my host. Once we were there we went through the two racks of clothes that were placed at the end of the entrance sidewalk and eventually made our way in. Another patron also came in a few minutes later. As we were all shopping some male employer came into the area near where I was at the children's books and asked how he could help us. I said we are just shopping. He said we are closef on Monday. Too bad, I had a good selection of books I was ready to purchase. I said, there is no sign anywhere that you aren't open on Monday, and why are there racks of clothes outside, and the door is open? The other patron asked the same questions. He should have just offered to let us pay for what we had in our hand, instead, he rudely restated that it was closed. We left and I purposely looked for hours of operation all around the building and came up empty. Not a good first impression."

"I recently started a donation drop-off event for our clients in our offices to bring us new or used clothing for women and feminine products to be delivered to the Mary & Martha house. Our clients went above and beyond and gave us different sized women's clothing from young children to elderly women, ranging in sizes small to XXL. We were elated to drop off our donations to women in need but was extremely surprised by how we were treated by the employees. I called the business a month ago to obtain all necessary information and was only told what to bring and where they were located. I even explained to the employee how I was having all 3 of our offices partake. When I called today to let them know we'd be dropping off items, I was treated with disrespect. The lady didn't seem interested or even happy that I was bringing the donations they need and ask for. She instead made me feel like an inconvenience and explained that they're only accepting 2 bags per person to drop off. I wasn't disclosed of any of this information at all when I called the 1st time. When we dropped off our items the workers were complaining how it was too much stuff and the women we interacted with was extremely rude. This is HORRIBLE customer service and how are you working for a non-profit when you could care less about actually helping women in need? We were trying to do a good deed and help people especially during COVID and we're treated like this? So unacceptable. We'll be delivering donations to another establishment in the future, I just feel for the women missing out on how we can help them get back on their feet."
