"Macy's Backstage Countryside Mall location does not deserve the current 4.1 stars overall status. 07/01/2023 was my first time visiting this section of the store and I was very unimpressed and felt super unsafe in the dressing rooms. All of the racks had mixed sizes and were unorganized to say the least. This location was very understaffed and felt like there was barely any air conditioning. My mom and I went into the mixed gender fitting rooms and they were filthy. There were only 5 dressing rooms. I glanced over each fitting room and the floors were dirty, trash in the rooms, clothing sprawled on the bench and floor, and I noticed while in the dressing room they had NO LOCKS on the doors. The wooden doors had flaps that were tilted open and that was a major privacy concern for me. Theres no return rack or attendants/employees to be found. It gets creepier. In my dressing room there was a message written in pencil that said "I KILL YOU". This just goes to show you how run down, understaffed, hot, and mucky this store is. Also, I was unimpressed with the prices considering they sell "closeout or overrun" items. Still 25 dollars for an off brand dress that I could most likely find at Plato's Closet... P.s. The outside picture of this location in inaccurate. The Macys Backstage closest entrance is closer to the restaurants such as, Bacon Street Diner."
