"I’m a frequent shopper of journeys both in store and online however an attempted return has left a bad taste in my mouth. I purchased a pair of shoes 2 weeks ago for an upcoming trip. I tried on the shoes in the store and packed them away in my suitcase (inside the box, inside the bag along with the receipt). I didn’t wear the shoes on the trip and decided to return them. The “manager” Amiyah immediately accused me of wearing the shoes because of a scuff mark on the rim of the shoe. Another associate checked the laces and bottom of the shoes (nothing there of course) and then began to SNIFF the shoe (lucky her they were never wore)! The manager refused the refund and was hesitant to give me the corporate office number. Instead she passed me a business card, as I walked out I noticed it was the local store number, I walk in to verify and the two are gossiping about the shoes. I am now waiting for a response from corporate in which I was told I would need to send pictures. Never in 36 years have I been accused of wearing shoes and returning them. All the hassle over $70"

"I bring my granddaughter here to return a hoodie that is to big that was just purchased and the cashier asked a 13 year old did she wear it and she said yes! She didn’t wear it at all she was thinking try on was the same as wearing it! So the cashier look for another reason not to accept the return their were just a little string hanging from the drawstring and said the item is damage. What ashamed the people that work there are looking for reasons not to accept your returns! ashamed on you!"
