Banfield Pet Hospital

"On 2/16/24 @ 9:15am, I brought my dog, Smoke, to Banfield Pet Hospital because he was constipated. After taking him to the back, the nurse and doctor returned after 45min with my dog. I immediately noticed that Smoke was dripping blood and become very concerned. The doctor advised me that he had developed a pocket near his rectum, which the doctor cleaned out and mentioned to me that it was messy. The vet told me that there was a little trauma and to keep Smoke in a diaper. I cautiously carried my dog to the car and brought him home, where he continued to bleed. I made him comfortable at home and let him rest. At 4:30 I called the vet to tell him Smoke was non responsive and was told they are about to closed and declined any responsibility for my dogs situation. Within moments my dog passed away in my arms on the way to the hospital. I am beyond devastated and in grief for my loss. It is heartbreaking and unbearable to think how nonchalant the vet was on the phone and no remorse was conveyed. I am convinced Smoke died due to actions taken by this vet. Please let this be a warning to everyone to avoid this office!!!"

"Don’t waste money coming here, Vet’s they not have a clue. Is all about money. Been there to many times for my Shepherd skin rushes spend a lot of money and never went to the problem, try this and that . Is horrible seen my dog like that. Finally I found the right place and cure it in the first visit."

"I have been going to Bansfield for almost a year now and have a wellness plan here. Every other location is great, this one not so much. every single time I go to this location with an appointment it’s always AT LEAST a 30 minute wait sometimes even an hour from when my appointment time is, why even make an appointment at that point??? Never considerate of time. I haven’t been back to this location in a while because of this, but the other locations are closed on sundays and I had off so I figured I’d give it another chance, Appointment was at 12, I waited in line and then they tell me the doctor I had an appointment with was in surgery?? Acting like it was my fault?? Not even an apology just a too bad. I booked online and it automatically assigned me a doctor for that time, she said she’ll check if the doctor is out yet, I waited another 10 minutes and she still wasn’t out so I finally just walked out, keep in mind I was there for just one vaccine not multiple just one that any doctor could have done in the span on 5 minutes."
