"Yesterday (2/10) I brought my 10 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback in to have her left hind paw examined. The paw was starting to swell and she was becoming lame on it. My pup was nervous and unsure of what was happening to and around her. The doctor was preforming surgery at the time of our arrival. The staff was outstanding and showed compassion when they were simply attempting to following their protocol of taking the animal to the back to assess my girl while the doctor was in surgery. I asked if she could stay with me until the doctor would be ready to see her so as to give her the most positive experience possible out of a scary situtation. They were more than willing and very understanding. She stayed with me calmly and content while we waited for the doctor. When to Doc was ready to see her they put us all in a large room and allowed me to hold/restrain her while the vet looked at her paw! As a professional horse trainer I was so impressed with their collective effort to make things as smooth as possible for my pup. Upon examination the doctor pulled a stick out from between her toes! It was huge and she stayed calm during it all! Thank you all for your understanding and compassion!!"

"Both of my pets were seen at this hospital recently. I would highly recommend to both friends and family as well as return in the future myself. I was included in all aspects of my dogs care plan, every step was communicated clearly by both the ladies up front and nurses from the back. On all occasions the Dr.s took time to ensure understanding and answer all of my questions, I never felt rushed. The facility is clean and well stocked with refreshments and easy listening music to help ease any wait time."

"Employees at Deland Emergency Animal Hospital are pure HERO’S in my book!! Took my very sick mini-dachshund Mr. Hershey Bean to them Friday at 3 am. Was met by very compassionate professional group of employees who quickly examined and diagnosed Mr. Hershey Bean. They suggested treatment that included x-rays, ultrasound, IV’s with antibiotics, other supplements and being admitted for observation. After a 3 day stay Mr. Hershey Bean came home and on the road to recovery!! They saved my Best Friends life!!!"

"I lived in Orange City for many years, I now live in Venice FL. I was in town, visiting family for the Thanksgiving Day holiday and my dog of 15 years, Bella began urinating blood. They took us in immediately, took her back immediately and kept us informed. They explained what they were going to do, the test they were going to run and the reasons why. I felt that Bella could not have been taken care of any better anywhere else. We have an ER in Venice that charges $250 to just walk in the door, with all the test that were run and with all the care that was given our bill was very reasonable compared to what it would’ve ever been if I had to take her to the ER back in Venice. It’s nice to know this place is here because I visit so much. Thank you to the Doctor, Technicians and Staff for caring for Bella this Saturday, November 25, 2023. ❤️❤️"

"Earlier today I had to rush my cat Drogo to this animal hospital after being attacked by a dog. He was bleeding from his eyes and his nose and his head seemed terribly swollen. The moment the vet staff saw him through the glass door they were very quick to react and bring him to the back to be checked out. The treatment is pretty prices however they showed me care credit and were willing to work with the budget that it gave me. They truly care about animals and their well being AND their owners. I fully believe that my dear Drogo is in the best care here. And I couldn’t be more thankful for how kind and helpful everyone was while I was there, scared for my cat."
