Pet Dentist At Tampa Bay

"Just another business caring more about money than your family. They told us they had all paperwork for our cats surgery weeks in advance (our other vet did all the bloodwork). Then this vet called us THE DAY BEFORE our surgery saying they got it wrong and said we needed to take our cat to another vet the same day to have more blood work done. Finally they laughed at us when we expressed frustration. Just very poor customer service. Lack of empathy. And only caring about your money. We will be going elsewhere now."

"The staff misread my cat's file multiple times in prep for his surgery tomorrow. Over the phone yesterday they said they had everything they needed, two weeks ago over the phone they also said they had everything they needed. They called at noon today and informed me that I have to leave work early today for a 4pm appointment at my vet (the day before his surgery and get a last minute appointment at my vet) to have additional bloodwork done that is needed for the procedure tomorrow. Not only is the staff's error resulting in me missing time at work unexpectedly, now I have unexpected blood work that I will have to pay for, and will have to traumatize my cat with an additional car ride. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience thus far. Update: Called back to discuss the situation and my options with the office and the lady mockingly laughed at the fact that I had to leave work. I hope that laugh was worth the over $1,000 - $2,000 appointment I just canceled. This place doesn't care about me or my pet. How sad."

"My cat Jack was just in for 3 extractions due to resorption issues. It is a bit of a wait to get an appt but this was not an emergency. The office staff were very friendly and reassuring. Dr Smithson was incredible- I couldn't believe how easy and quiet the mouth exam went in my nervous cat! The entire procedure and cost was explained up front with no hidden charges.I got a call reporting progress once the surgery was done. Everything went well and best of all is a long-lasting pain medicine applied to the skin so I didn't have to give any oral pain meds. When I went to pickup Jack, Dr Waters showed me the xrays and discussed the procedure. Though the treatment is a bit costly, I would not go anywhere else. There's no way I could let my cat suffer with tooth pain !"

"I cannot thank the staff at the Pet Dentist enough for the amazing work they have done on my puppy. My puppy suffered with an enamel defect and they were able to turn her teeth around completely. They are the best you can get for your pet. I was fully impressed with their professionalism, knowledge, and hard work they put into each animal. I was throughly updated throughout the entire process and the end result was amazing. My puppy can live a normal life now and was able to keep all of her teeth. We drove almost two hours to have our puppy worked on, and I would do it all over again. I truly felt my pet was cared for and well taken care of. Now, my puppy is happy, and doesn’t have to worry about her teeth."
