"Our family recently had to make the gut-wrenching decision to send our 13 yr old boxer baby girl to eternal rest. Her body could no longer hold up. Dr. Furgang made this process flow as well as it could ever possibly go. From the first point of contact, through the follow up sympathy card that we received from her, she was the best! Her business is appropriately named. Dr. Furgang with Peaceful Passings helped our family more than any words can ever express. Thank you."

"Dr Furgang came to give my sweet baby Chico a peaceful transition to the other side. He was almost 18 and had a cancerous mass/tumor near his liver. I'm blown away at her compassion and understanding. She talked through the entire process and even sent a sympathy card after. I will never forget that. Highly recommend."

"Our dog Shinyang wasn't sick; she was just very old at 16y/o. She was deaf, almost blind, incontinent, and had bad arthritis. She had a hard time walking and starting to fall more and more. The pain medicine was no longer enough. We knew it was time, but she hated the vet's office and always trembled like a 9.0 earthquake when there. We didn't want her last moments to be in fear at a place she hated. A friend told us about Peaceful Passings of Ocala, an in home euthanasia service. Dr Stacy Furgang was phenomenal with a great bedside manor, which helped put us at ease. She was patient and explained everything. Shinyang was very relaxed around her and at peace laying on her own floor while we held her. The first shot was a sedative to put her under. As it took effect but still awake, I could see the relief of not being in pain come across her face as her eyes slowly closed. It was beautiful. Dr Furgang was very patient to make sure the sedative had fully taken effect. She kept talking to us about our Shinyang, which helped us not break down. The next shot was the most Peaceful Passing I've ever witnessed, and I am so grateful this service exists. Shinyang passed in our arms in the only home she had ever known. We can't thank Dr Stacy Furgang enough for her tenderness and compassion for Shinyang and us. Thank you."

"Dr. Stacy came to our farm today. While it was a sad difficult day she made it better. For the last 3 years I ran a dog sanctuary with an older sick dog population that did not allow euthanasia. We lost 10 dogs in 3 years and after today I’m a firm believer in euthanasia. This dog was 19 and had lived a fantastic life. We were able to say goodbye and spend her last morning loving on her. She enjoyed the sun and lots of loving. The process was so easy and painless. Unlike the dogs at the sanctuary she didn’t have to go through days to weeks of pain, there was no fear in her eyes, no convulsions… just peacefully went to sleep. I cannot stress enough how this was the best end for a beloved friend of almost 20 years. Thank Dr. Stacy!"

"Highly recommend Dr Stacy. Kind, compassionate and understanding. She took her time to explain what each step would be and what I would see as Lily passed over the rainbow bridge. Her compassion for me as I said good bye to my best friend is something that everyone should experience. Her tenderness with Lily made me so very thankful that I found her to help with this difficult decision. Thank you Dr Stacy."
