"Absolutely lovely. Great area. Quaint old front but roomy inside. Sat at bar had nachos and drinks. Great reasonably priced bloody Mary. Good strong jack and coke. Had a beer flight and didn't love the half wall beers but pretty subjective on that. Very good service. Don't take Discover card."
"Awesome BURGERS!!! I was brought here by a friend for dinner. She says when she comes out here to visit, this is the place and have their Peanut butter, bacon burger… and I see why. The burger patty itself is one of the best on its own. It’s for me right now #1 for Peanut butter and bacon burger. Loved their version of the Boom Boom shrimp appetizer. Our server was great too. If you want to eat any of their sandwiches or burgers… then come here hungry."
"We had been to the Half Wall Brewery in New Smyrna Beach and liked it. We tried the DeLand location for lunch. This one is a restaurant and tap room. The brewery operations are in New Smyrna Beach. The beer menu is extensive, but most of the beers on the menu were from elsewhere. Of all that were on draught, there were only a limited number of beers actually brewed by Half Wall. The list looked pretty much the same as the ones we chose from in New Smyrna. We liked the beers we tried but what was best at Half Wall was the food. The Chicken Philly sandwich was as good as you can find anywhere in town. When it came time to pay our bill, the waitress informed us that they could not accept a Discover Card, which was what I wanted to use. A tip for Discover users is to bring cash, like I did. Overall, we left the place with a good impression. We would enjoy visiting Half Wall again, when it's not raining, most likely for lunch, and we better bring cash."
"The Half Wall has a great selection of beer with many on tap. Atmosphere is basically a sports bar in a old building with good character. The food is pretty good. I normally get the French Dip with a side of fresh horseradish. I would say that while the food is always good, it can be a little inconsistent and sometimes it’s better than others. The Fried Green Tomato Stack was incredible. I would repeat that every time now."
"Ordered a hamburger with bacon and a side of fries. The presentation is great and the portion is quite decent. The only reason I did not give a five star was because the actual meet was a bit flavorless at least for my taste. I’d still recommend this place !!! Will definitely come back."
