"This month marks my year with working with the wonderful fantastic staff at Walkin family psychiatry. In this time I have come full circle in my life I’ve done a 180 mentally, physically, emotionally. Dr. Michelie & Dr. Francis both have given me so much attention, professionalism, and a piece of themselves to help me in my journey, to discover myself in the traumas i carry around every day, and to bring me out of my head, and out of the trauma, my own chains that I didn’t know I had. Dr. Francis has been very patient with me you know cause I’m stubborn and stuck in my own ways about things but she metaphorically held my hand and at the same time made me face the person that I am the person that I was and help me become the person that I wanna be. It hasn’t been easy. I fall into my own traps Time and Time Again, but she always welcomes me back with a fresh clean slate. She likes to remind me why I’m here I need to do for myself and reminds me of my goals and reminds you the person that I can be, I am forever in her debt. She’s always routing for me, Francis thank you for all that you’ve done, and all you continue to do in my life to make me the person that I want to be. Thank You so very much!!! From my first visit, I always leave better than when I came in. if you need help all you have to do is ask, there’s never any judgment there’s always soft eyes warm smiles, and great energy. If I can do it, you can do it. You just have to take the first step."

Upon receiving the list from my school, I called the clinic to inquire about conducting clinical rotation. The office manager, Libby responded to me immediately and completed the school contract and other documents the same day. My preceptor, Michelie Levrier, PMHNP is great to work with. She is professional, flexible, works great with people and creates a non-judgmental attitude towards the patients, staff and interns.
