"Spectacular. Excellent. Dazzled. By the food One bad thing, the wine pairing with the omakase. Has some wines I dont think go with the sushi. Only complaint. Compares to The Den at azabu. Uhhh tough choice. Can’t decide on that right now. But they are both at the top of my favs."

"This restaurant lives up to its excellence without relying on hype. We recently tried it for the first time with a party of four. Right before our scheduled seating time, they escorted us in. The atmosphere is placid and tranquil. From the beginning, the staff were very attentive, and they maintained this level of service throughout. As we settled in and drinks were poured, we soon received our first course. The quality of the food was excellent, which is crucial for a sushi-serving restaurant. This was our first omakase-style meal, so I can only compare the food to other Japanese restaurants in San Francisco, New York, and Miami. Needless to say, the food was of the highest quality I've ever had. The fish and seafood were perfect temperature, not cold. The wakame was incredibly fresh. Our favorite pieces were the toro, and the uni was also very good. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we will definitely go back."

"My friends and I had a really nice experience at Shingo. It's a more traditional sushi restaurant compared to many of the other in the Miami area. The decor and service are similar to what you would find in Japan. Each piece of sushi was expertly prepared, and the fish was very fresh. The small criticism I have is that there wasn't a lot of creativity or variety in the type of fish they served. It was the same type of fish that you find in other higher-end sushi restaurants. I would prefer to see some differentiation and creativity. There are other omakase offerings in the Miami-area that offer a more unique experience. Overall, I do think that Shingo is worth a visit but I'm not sure if I would be going back a second time."

"WOW. Welcome to an evening to remember! From entry I knew this was not your typical sushi restaurant nor your usual upscale establishment. This small semi-private, cozy dining experience was a wonderful 2 hour event. The staff welcomes you with a lovely glass (quite full too) of champagne and a warm towel to clean your hands. As you enjoy sipping the bubbles, you watch the sushi chefs start to prepare the fish for the evening. Watching their precision with the knife is something to be admired. Each corse was carefully selected, plated, and explained. If I may suggest, when they offer ‘extra dishes’ get another caviar roll! EXCELLENT Great date night-great anniversary dinner."

"Considering it’s located in Miami, it’s the best Japanese food we’ve tried locally, together with mister omakase, where the fish quality is a bit higher than here. Here they win in atmosphere by far. This place in Japan couldn’t charge these high prices, the quality here is about 60% of a high end sushi bar in Japan, which is what they replicated here. Mostly everything was good, but the octopus and the uni were mediocre. The sake pairing is too expensive for what you get, next time we will get a bottle. The nigiri is also bigger in Japan, like 1.5 bigger. They still get 5 stars, we will come back."
