"They could use a major face lift all around ...they have some cheaper priced items but kinda smells bad and as someone whom is down with bringing my own bags they still leave a lot to be desired...I've been in a total of 3 times in a year...they have had a rack of the same dresses up front every time and one register open every time as well... All-in-all for me not a good fit!"

"My husband and I have had a few negative interactions, always with the same employee and usually on weekday evenings/nights. This past evening, however, was the worst one (Friday 01/14/2022) as yet at the Wauchula store. We parked in front of the buggy receptacle, on the sidewalk, and proceeded to walk towards the front door. As we were approaching, there was a female employee standing in the front entrance, with the sliding doors open, talking to another female, who was on the sidewalk. The female on the sidewalk was in street clothes (shorts, blouse and windbreaker) and had no type of uniform on. This was the person who proceeded to call out to my husband and I as we approached the front door, stating that “we’re closed and will reopen in the morning”. I had no idea who this person was and looked past her to the employee, who stayed silent. I asked why the store was closed, as it was only 7:12 pm on a Friday night and she smirked and said “there’s not enough staff”. Two other vehicles had pulled up, one on either side of our vehicle, and she yelled this out to them, also. The store employee seemed to have an attitude, as she would only speak to this female and sounded like she was criticizing customers for asking why they closed early. The female in street clothes proceeded to jump in an SUV that was parked in front of the store and they sped off. The employee, who never spoke a word to any of us, even though we directed questions towards her, proceeded to lock the door and go back into the store. I tried calling the store phone number and it was busy for approximately 10-15 minutes. During that time period, I tried calling the Bartow and Avon Park locations. Bartow only yielded a fax tone after multiple tries, every time. A female picked up at Avon Park the first time, but after saying hello, the fax tone started and I had to discontinue the call. I called back multiple times, getting the tone each time. When I eventually got an employee at the Wauchula number, after 15 minutes, she stated that they closed at 6 pm due to a staff shortage and would reopen the next morning. The evening crew at this store is pitiful. The employee allowed her friend to laughingly tell customers that they were closed. I, myself, certainly did not appreciate this. I only came to this store for one product, but will happily pay more at Walmart or Winn Dixie if it means being treated with respect. *I did not proofread, so please excuse any mistakes in spelling or grammatical errors. Thank you."

"We buy all our groceries here. They carry a nice variety of products, every store brand has been very good. We only go to Walmart for items Save A Lot doesn't carry. Very nice people here."

"I am presently unable to walk without crutches, so it can be difficult for me to bag groceries and put them in my car. However the staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to assist me. For me, this was much easier than going to Walmart. Thank you."
