"This place has a lot of things cheaper than Walmart. And if you belong to there list on savings, you will save a lot more. The place is always clean. But most of all they have people that speak English. You go into other stores, ( Walmart ) and you can never find anyone that speaks English anymore. And no, I don't work at Big Lots, I work at Walmart."
"I briefly spoke with the manager, Heather, and I could see she is so dedicated to her role (despite personal matters)! I wish managerial roles at retail stores would offer better work-life balance, especially for team members like Heather, that are committed to improving the quality of customer service and the in-store shopping experience."
"I have never in my life experienced such horrific customer service. I went in with my two year old, wanting to get christmas decorations. My son started to cry in the store and when we ringing up our stuff the cashier, Jackie asked MY son “Dang are you going to ware out?” acting as if my sons crying was bothering her. What kind of adult does that? An elderly at that. Whether you have kids or not I really don’t care. Then, the second assistant or supervisor, whatever his title is, John was his name, was actually making fun of the noises my child was making. Again, what kind of adult makes fun of a child? Very unprofessional employees. I am completely disgusted with this behavior from an ADULT about a crying KID."

"Never in a million years did I think I'd be be writing a review about a big box store. To be blunt, I'm not really a fan of them. That being said, I feel the need to write one about the Brandon Big Lots. First, when customer service is at an all time low, they stand out. Last weekend my wife and I were picking up some Easter treats and an employee noticed me carrying a hand basket which was pretty full, and asked me if we needed a cart. I said yes and he hustled to grab one a brought it too us. The cashiers are friendly and helpful. You never know what you'll find at Big Lots, but I always seem to find something I can't live without. During this time where the dollar doesn't go far, you can get more bang for your buck at Big Lots."
