"This happens to be one very well stocked Dollar General. Alot of them in the area simply just do not have some of the products they supply here. It is a Dollar General so if you are expecting a full grocery store you should not bad mouth this place as they have more here that most comparable entities. The manager is always nice along with a couple others I see frequently. Self check out is the way to go unless you have a prohibited item in the self check. It's Dollar General folks you get what you get."
"What's w the pics posted 4 this location?Not our Newberry DG. Store is always dirty and they always have missing stocked items. So much worse since the covid. The jonesville store has neither problem. Another thing you have to watch out for is the bread. They shove everything in one truck and their bread that they ship in w their truck gets this awful taste and smell. Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself. I have to update this review..sad to say. The management is terrible and very unfriendly to the occasional shopper. If they know you or are their personal friend? They are obviously different. The average working employee is not that way at all. They will welcome you when you walk in and friendly towards you at check out. But this store is the worst DG store in the tri counties area."

"They had some rude employees. Long lines at the check out. . No one to help anyone else. The store needed one more employee to help customers and to keep the store tidy. Next time we shall go earlier in the day. Prices were good and the stock selection was very good."
"This location was very recently remodeled. It has expanded and is overall a much nicer location. The variety of things offered is much better than it was in the past and when I stopped it looked like there were no queues of racks waiting to be put away as there always has been on past trips. I'm sure a lot of that has to do with now having enough shelf space for all of their stock. The reason I did not give five stars is because although the store is beautiful, the staff remains the same. Unfriendly, barely acknowledging shoppers and generally making the experience not as pleasant as it could be. I still prefer Family Dollar for this reason."
