"I would NOT recommend renting from this company. Their gear is falling apart and it is just simply broken. We couldn't use an umbrella because it was broken, the chairs were about to fall apart, a chain fell off a bike while riding it for the first time, the right child size helmet was never delivered, the pack n play was absolutely disgusting and it looked like it was never cleaned. Communicating with the company during our vacation was challenging and they only gave us a small percentage discount even though we had to rent from another company and ended up paying double for what we needed. I would stay clear. Check out Jake's for beach gear. Other things like baby gear? I don't know :("

"We had a rental credit that came with our rental of the house. We didn’t know what we wanted to use them for until Wednesday, and I texted them. They were already closed, which is my bad since we didn’t pay attention to the time. The next day, they responded and said that they are closing at 11 AM (for some reason, even though their Google hours say differently) and I wouldn’t be able to use the credit. Kinda sucks that I didn’t even get to give the company a chance since they close early today for some reason. I guess if you get a rental credit you should be prepared to immediately book, even if you don’t know what you want to use it on. Employee who responded was friendly but the situation sucks."

"If I could give the manager of the beach chair rentals a 0 I would. We rented a house on the beach with 8 chairs and 4 umbrellas. When the guys set up the chairs they were approx. 4 feet from the dunes with 3 rows of people in front of us. We tried to talk to the “new” manager about moving the chairs up and he was really rude and said he would lock up the chairs so we couldn’t use them. We have rented the same house for 4 yrs and never had an issue. After spending half the day finding 360 Blue they ended up giving us a refund to rent chairs we could move closer to the beach. We have 5 little ones and the house was advertised as a “private beach”. No such thing! 360 Blue was very nice helping us solve this issue, but I would not recommend Vacayzen for rentals. The manager is obviously not a people person!!"

"Very disappointed in our experience with this company and service. Used the service based on a recommendation and ordered our bikes and when they showed up one had a major flat tire. The kind of flat tire you would not be able to *not* notice, when dropping it off. That night, my son and a friend took another bike out for a longer ride, and the chain popped off. Stranding him away from the house. He called, and I had to pick him up in Rosemary, in my car and throw the bike in the back. They could not come out until the next day to fix them, which they did, but still we had downtime during the rental when the bikes could not be used. Reading more of these reviews, this sounds like a trend and they just deliver the bikes in whatever condition they are in versus maintaining them. The bikes are not the new ones that they have listed on their site. I would find another option, versus dealing with this service. Received a partial refund ($32 of $182) after some back and forth with their customer service. UPDATE: They offered me an additional refund of $59 *if I would take down this review*. Here is the exact language they used - "We have reviewed the issues with our management team further and would like to offer you half of the amount in exchange for your review to be taken down." Their former name was RentGearHere so watch out for anything from that name too."

"So disappointed in this company. We started out with the baby swing we rented in our rental when we got that… score! But all went downhill from there. The first thing we realized was that the cord to plug it in wasn’t included. After being told it just uses batteries, they did drop off a cord very quickly after I let them know the five point safety harness was missing- no way to buckle a baby safely into the swing. Another call later and I was told it would be replaced, which it was- with the same model, also without the safety buckles. I have talked to people multiple times over the phone and via email yet the swing remains on my porch. I included pictures of the first swing so you can see that it was not clean. Same for the second swing, which are the last few. I would not ever use this company, nor would I recommend to anyone else."
